Entertainment Weekly has posted the first official image of Transformers Movie 3 Dark Of The Moon Leader Class Sentinel Prime.

The image also revealed Sentinel Prime robot mode and yes, he is the guy that appeared in the first DOTM movie teaser. Sentinel Prime is a Leader Class figure and available in the 1st wave of the Transformers DOTM toy line.




Also another toy that revealed is The Ark: that serves as Sentinel Prime’s living tomb.

Looks interesting, I want to see more pictures. I definitely like the alt mode though.

way to get our hopes up whoever said that.

Gonna have to get some better pictures before I call judgment on it. It has potential to go both ways for me.

Well this one actually looks decent. Certainly better than 99% of the others toys we have seen. And while it isnt Ultra Magnus, I could still envision a repaint of him...

this looks incredible.. i love the chest, the legs look great, the head looks perfect, i love transformers with shields, his weapon looks bad ass, and his alt mode looks great..

see what happens when there isn't a giant chunk of retarded weaponry included with the figure.. it turns out looking like this.

.. and why would you think this is ultra magnus?? hasn't it been obvious all along that this was sentinel? i mean, did you just think he was going to be on the moon.. and not come to earth? process of elimination sorta should have made it clear that this was sentinel.

LOL...Wonderful! We finally get ONE DotM toy that interests me and it's a Leader Class and therefore costs more than I'm willing to spend on a single Movie related toy. Well, probably what I deserve for all the bad-mouthing of this toy line that I've been doing.

I like the figure but the ark??....

Isn't the Ark going to be a Cyberverse(Legends) Playset, if so it already looks good.

I really hope there is a beeter way to store Sentinel's weapons, other than dump them on his roof

I was kind of so-so about the rest of the DOTM toys, but Sentinel Prime looks amazing. I want one now!!!!

Weird, but kinda cool. Too bad he's not Vector Prime instead, I'd have more reason to pick him up. I'll probably get him anyway, though I might hold out for a repaint

Anyway, I assume the weapons can hide a little better in vehicle mode, and that's just a standard "Attack" mode they like so much.

Wow, this is actually a great looking figure, I'm impressed.

This is the first toy from the line that actually looks really good. Granted, these photos are made to look perfect, but Sentinel Prime looks like a solid toy, as does the Ark.

Also interesting to note in the article is the mention of Laserbeak when they talk about the trailer. That would seem to be a confirmation that the bird/buzzard/dragon looking-thing IS Laserbeak. Maybe there'll be a Buzzsaw repaint?

Very Nice. I promised I'd keep this movie's toys to a minimum, but he's coming home with me. I suppose the "battle mode" with the shield is what amounts to the oversized mech-tech weapon on other toys.

Why would a "tomb" need an array of guns (big ones at that)?

Anyone other than me noticing that the DotM toys seem to be getting back to the more Classics-ish kind of robot modes, and away from the skeletal kind of robot modes?

well... this cheers me up. but i think Sentinel Prime should have been called Alpha Trion instead. (redeco anyone?)
