Few Question about RTS FallBack...

Hello all!

I'm new to the forums, but long time Transformer fan. Just got into collecting the RTS line of toys, as well as the Classics 2.0 stuff. My question is (and I apologize if this topic has already been touched on), is Fallback suppose to be the good ol' G1 character Outback. The two characters' bios read almost the same. Also, if he is Outback, does that mean that Hasbro has released a Brawn colored repaint/deco of this mold, and I missed it? Kinda like the old toys had Brawn and then a tan color of the mold. Or might it be "in the works" ?

Thanks!

Welcoem to Seibertron.com! The other members will bring you proper greetings shortly :)

RtS Fallback is indeed inspired by G1 Outback, but whether or not he actually is the same character is for the buyer to decide. And yes, a Brawn has come before him, in the Revenge of Fallen line:

Not sure if you're aware of this, but "Fallback" is the current name for the character now, thank to Outback Steakhouse owning the rights to the name "Outback".

JelZe GoldRabbit-

Thanks for the info! I wasn't aware of the Brawn figure, but that would explain the more uh, move-ish look of Fallback. Outback Steakhouse, huh? It all makes sense now!

Thanks again!

Welcome to Seibertron!
Brawn was released last year in Revenge of the Fallen NEST series. You might be able to get him for a good price from one of the site sponsors scattered around the page, or elsewhere. I got Fallback yesterday and I still need to nab Brawn as well as his other ROTF NEST series deluxe buddies.
As for Fallback, it does seem he is the same character as Outback, with the Outback name being trademarked. It is really up to you to decide who he is...which goes for all the figures in the 2010-2011 Transformers subline (which includes the Hunt for the Decepticons and Reveal the Shield promotions) as well as the Generations subline.

I kinda like the name "Outback" better then "Fallback", so I guess in my newly started collection he will be Outback...so, now I'll do a little lookin' around and find me a proper "Brawn".

Your welcome...that's what I'm here for. I'm the movie figure guy. I also like the Outback name better.
And I believe bigbadtoystore.com has Brawn in stock for just a few dollars over retail.

Heck, I've still seen Brawn at 2 different Walgreens. There still out there, just not en mass.
