Has this figure been released yet? If not, does anyone know when? I've not heard a thing about this figure since it's promo pic was shown a while ago.

He's been released, but like the rest of RtS line, they're hard to find. Try the less plausible stores like Kohls, TJ Maxx and the like. They're plentiful in the UK.

They have all the other scouts in greater amounts at every store I have been ,and I have yet to find one Windcharger. Which is the only scout I want.

I didn't think Windcharger had been spotted in the U.S.

To my knowledge he has been spotted in Canada and I would be amazed if he doesn't carry over into the next case assortment. I think 3 assortments is the general rule?

That's right, stranger still is that HftD and RtS are considered the same line, so the cases contain toys of both HftD and RtS. The current case setup is:

2x Backfire (HftD)
1x Insecticon (HftD)
2x Breacher(HftD)
1x Firetrap (HftD)
2x Sunspot (HftD)
2x Windcharger (RtS)
2x Chopsaw (RtS)

I expect Backfire to be switched out (being a Wave 1 figure), with Insecticon and Breacher following in a possible revision. Keep a close eye on online retailers who sell complete cases.

The HFTD toys in the UK that ship with W'Charger have had the HFTD stickers removed from the bubbles, so you can tell if you are looking as W'Chargers casemates or leftover HFTD stock. I assume that'll be the same everywhere.

At the very least if gives you an idea if the store has had them in or are still waiting to shift the shelfwamers. Insecticion is everywhere in the UK for some reason.

I'd say that is the biggest key. BBTS is still showing pre-order. And not in any of the target.com/walmart.com/toysrus.com. I always flip through all the scouts still looking for this guy knowing it's probably still too early but always hoping......

Just a quick link to confirm the Canadian sighting. I was always under the impression that the North American continent got things all at the same time, with the US generally taking priority?

He's been out in Australia for a fair while. Got mine just after Christmas.

It's just appeared in Greece. About 5 days ago, tho we're ages behind in sightings. The accompanying deluxes and voyagers are no shows so far.

Windcharger is about the only RtS figure to show up in my corner of England.

At the mall of asia at philipines my cousins informed me about the rts windcharger.
