Just got hold of Cybertron optimus Prime(well its going to arrive in a couple of days) and was looking online when i found a korean transformer Galaxy Force GC-22 Sonic Bomber Wing Saber, from what i read this combines with optimus prime ! Will this combine with my uk prime? Is it worth getting as the price is pretty good & i quite like the look of him I am aware of the story behind his link with prime. My main obstical is the fact that there are a lot of tf's on my want list & would appreciate some insight & opinion.
Would also like some ideas about which autobots i should try to get as most of my collection is Decepticon based,i have MP optimus,G1 grimlock, G1 Hotrod,G1 Blur & G1 Meroplex Compared to 20+ Decepticon's and i would like to balance my collection
My main reasons for liking certain TF's are that they look good in both Modes & have good articulation (for display) i have a great love for the original Characters of my childhood 80's-90's

GF Sonic Bomber aka Cybertron Wing Saber will combine with any incarnation of Cybertron Optimus Prime, period. The Korean versions are the next best thing after Japanese versions.

If you want G1 characters in new forms you should definitely look into Classics, Universe 2008, Generations and Reveal the Shield, or if you wanna be fancy, the Japanese Henkei! and United lines. However, Classics Rodimus (Hot Rod) goes for a lot these days thanks to an unofficial add-on, as well as Classics Ultra Magnus.

My advice would be to get a G1 Ultra Magnus in you collection as soon as possible. He's an awesome toy and an awesome figure, in my opinion you just can't go wrong with this guy.

Thank's for the great advice been looking on e-bay at Ultramagnus so i'll move him to the top of my list Already got some Henkei but all of them decepticons so i'll defo go for some of the autobot henkei you listed !
Been looking at some of the PE accessories 2 for my henkie tf's ie kingbat & ninja anyone have them? are they any good ? Are they worth the price ?
Anyone care to add to the list of TF's i should get ?
I recently sold some of my G1's so i'd like to expand my collection : D
