Just got this e-mail from Hobbylink Japan.
Despite many months of attempting to locate stock on the item(s) shown below, we have been unsuccessful. We have contacted the manufacturer and understand that, at this time, they have no plans to produce any more in the foreseeable future. As such, we have removed the following item(s) from your outstanding order.
>TKT37536, Transformers Animated 20: Blackout
If you have any other sources for this, we recommend that you use them as we doubt we will be able to get additional stock.
Thanks for your patience, and thank you for using HobbyLink Japan.
Bugger.

Holy crap!
I didn't even know that they made this.
Then again, being away from the collectors world for 19 months, I guess I would miss something like this.
I'll get it eventually. Hasbro will probably bring it over eventually. My money is on the next Classics line.

Man that sucks. However seeing that so many were getting snagged to cover for the fact Hasbro screwed that pooch, it's not really a surprise.
I hope you can still find one Burn.

Sorry to her that man, he's a good figure. Amazon Japan still
have him but the shipping would probably be pretty intense.

Shipping to Australia is pretty good.
Ordering something in Japanese however is pretty impossible.

Oh man, ironic timing, Burn--I've been eyeing this guy for months and finally had enough $$$ lying around to snag one off of e-bay a couple weeks ago for right around the $50 mark, shipping included. Should be getting him any day now, actually... I hadn't checked any other online sites, though, as I expected the prices to be well above that...
Hope you're able to find one, but I'd keep an eye on e-bay for that one-in-a-hundred good buy... Good luck!

People were ignoring me right and left and the ones that weren't were complaining about the price when I was selling mine for $45.

Man, either I didn't see that or I didn't have the moolah at the time, because I would have jumped all over that deal...

Can I ask why you sold it? Because I keep going back and forth on whether to get it... From what I've seen, it doesn't really seem cool enough to drop $50+ on it, especially when I go through spells where I contemplate selling off all my Animated figs. I'm just worried I'm gonna decide later I actually do want it once the price reaches obnoxious.

I'm really not too fazed about it. It would have been nice to snap him up, but considering how deprived I am of funds at the moment it's probably best I not pursue him.
Thanks anyway guys.

Jimmy Drift posted a link to an auction selling 3 Blackouts at a pretty reasonable price.
