Generations Thundercracker in Package and Bio

It's been four years in the making, but when Generations Thundercracker hits the shelves the domestically released Classics-verse Seekers will finally be complete. Images have been posted to
ACToys of Generations Thundercracker in package revealing his package art and bio.
Back on CYBERTRON, THUNDERCRACKER was a master of using sound to his advantage. His fear-housing sonic booms were tuned perfectly to the composition of the atmosphere. Sonic vibrations from his attacks could be felt thousands of miles away, generating panic in those nearby, and deep unease even on the other side of the planet.

Sonic booms? Correct.
Inducing fear? I guess, but what did the other Generations blue jet's bio say about that?

very cool bio. I usually don't give any basis to the bios, but when they're written well enough to sound sweet, I dig.

Phew, nothing in his profile about being uncertain about the Decepticon cause. Hopefully that'll stop another generation from making repetitive Mosaics and fanfics about how sympathetic he is.

Agreed, especially since I don't recall that character trait ever popping up in any actual G1 media.
Unless one assumes Unicron turned him into Scourge and over-analyzes HIS actions in 'Ghost in the Machine' and 'The Burden Hardest to Bear'. Thankfully, Hasbro has yet to try and settle THAT thorny issue in any official Skywarp, Cyclonus, or "Hardshell" bio, continuing a trend of remarkably good judgment in their text department, right down to jaAM.

Pretty cool. Im gonna buy 2 of them. I put my 2 cents in many times on these forums hoping our voices would be heard. Thank you Hasbro.

Interesting bio.
When Thundercracker speaks, the Earth moves, literally.

Oh man, that is the reason Thundercracker is soo cool. Any character that goes from evil to good is the best in my book. Its what makes Thundercracker so appealing, that and the sound "manipulation"

Hell. I just...
- wrote everything off as "storyboarding error,"
- equate T-Crack = Scourge,
- equate Skywarp = Cyclonus,
- assume that the Cybertronians create their body images "en mass,"
- and continue to blame Takasbromy (Hasbro, atleast) for their continued lack of consistency.

cant wait to get Thundercracker and get him up there on my shelf.finally the injustice of THAT botcon set is undone.
I have always looked the the Unicron transformation the same way.....
Thundercracker into Scourge
Skywarp into Cyclonus
and the parts of the insecticons were divided 50/50 to make them both "super"

Here's to Hasbro: sticking it to the gullible morons who paid $50+ for a 5-inch-tall robot figure.

The bio is a bit obnoxious. His sonic booms creating unease in those half around the planet? That would mean all the time. When you are subjected to something on a constant basis it becomes the normal, the fight-or-flight nature turns off. I like the idea of his presence being felt from miles away but not thousands of miles away.

DEDICATED MORONS.

Despite the fact that my Henkei Thundercracker has two right-hand stabilizers, I love the colour scheme far too much to replace it with this. If I do get it, it'll become my blue member of the Rainmakers.

I wonder how long until this ships out to retail?
I really would like to finish up my collection of Generations and Reveal the Shield since they already killed the line. I hate the stupid movies. The only good thing about them is Peter Cullen's voice. I am hoping in Dark Of The Moon you can make out what the hell is going on when they fight for once.

After looking like he was in a lighter blue in those loose pics, he now looks closer to the dark blue that Henkei used.
I need to see some comparison pictures before I can decide to replace my Henkei one with this guy.
He'll never be the same cool blue he was back in G1 days unfortunately but if he's lighter in Hasbro's then that's what I'll have in my collection.

Yup, I was thinking that too! I have the KO Sunstorm, and Acid Storm, so
SUPER BLUE Thundercracker will fit right in with them.

Hasbro haven't but Takara have. Call Of The Future unambiguously states that Scourge is Thundercracker and Cyclonus is Bombshell.

I have the same intentions...good thing too, cuz this guy is rockin' the upside-down Con symbols! Good enough for him to hang with the generic Rainmakers, but not enough to get him in the cool kids club!

Actually, he never turns "good" by a good margin, he just has sympathy for humans. He's merely uncertain about life if he has no cause to live for. Kinda like me

I can't wait to get my hands on this guy. Slowly but surely I'm completing RTS/Generations, and having him be the (likely) last in the series I get seems fitting, since Starscream was my first Classics purchase. Now if they'd just r-release Skywarp....and Ramjet....
