As promised in BotCon's tweet yesterday another Animated figure has been revealed. This time it's the Transformers Collectors' Club exclusive TransTech Animated Cheetor. Up until now we've only had Derrick J. Wyatt's concept sketches and a photoshopped version of the character's alt mode, which is based on Transformers Animated Blurr.

Bleh! I'm only gonna buy this because it's Beast Wars. This just looks terrible.

Agreed.

I enjoyed the artwork, but it just doesn't translate well into a toy I guess...

Would have been better if they used the tools from the toyline that was supposed to be back in 2000.

Looks ok, but enough for me to sign up for another year.

Is it me or are his eyes set too far back on the toy?

Not feeling that one at all.

This will be the first Club exclusive that I pass on entirely.

I'm torn between my love of Animated and how horrific this looks.

Now, I have to join TFCC! Just as soon as I magically come up with money!!! How much is it to sighn up, and when is this released!?

Hm, interesting. I like it. Not worth the price of admission but I like it. If it had come out at retail I'd pick one up, even though I hate most of the Animated aesthetic AND Cheetor. I like this figure, probably because it's ugly.

And for a bit of extra disappointment, remember, this mold was not used as Dragstrip for this.

I'll be getting him, but I don't think he'll stay Cheet-o(r).

No thanks. Looks like I'm saving money this year from the club.

So far, that no to Cheetor, and no to the possible Autotroopers.

Good thing cause the 3rd party guys are killing it this year!

Not Beast Wars, TransTech. Not that Cheetor, this Cheetor.

Not too shabby. I like the paint scheme, and the interesting head, but the face is a bit weird.

Nothing from TFCC is my cup of tea this year, but I am glad for the people who like this sort of stuff.

$40 ish, IIRC, and around May or June.

This one isn't the free figure for joining the club. Sudeburn is (repaint of classics Rodimus)- plus a G2 Ramjet. I'll be getting all three myself. I like the way this one looks.

Guys, i like it. I can't tell you why. The eyes ARE far back on the side of the head. The art did NOT translate well into the actual figure. I do not like Cheetor. I am only slightly interested in Animated, but for some reason I can't figure, I want this.

I kinda like it. Not enough to buy, but I like it.

I still wish they'd go aheas and release the original Transtech Cheetor mold. They actually have a working prototype of the figure so I don't see why they don't just make it happen.

This will do. It looks pretty good to me as far as the Animated look.

I want this mostly because I'm a sucker for Cheetor figures.

If we're going to be strict about continuity he's supposedly Animated with some connection to Transtech that hasn't been revealed.

But if this guy is Cheetor then who's the guy that Blackarachnia saw hanging around with a gorilla, a rhino and a giant rat?

Shouldn't the eyes slant a little further forward than that? This just makes them look too far apart. How did they screw up something like that?!
