Man, I can't wait to own that Prime figure!

Shouldn't that be "Trailcutter (aka Trailbreaker)"? Or was there a re-isssue with yet another name at some earlier point?

They all look great but they are just too small for me. I wonder why hasbro can release this Megatron but not Masterpiece Megatron; I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a problem to put an orange tip on the gun barrel...

Anybody know if Takara is releasing these? I really hate the orange on Megs. I wonder if they'll do two sets like they did for Henkei.

Am I tripping or there metal parts on these guys?

No metal parts unfortunately.

While I was admittedly not very stoked about these offerings, the more I look at them the more I am having a "Metroplex moment." WSTF's look decent for scale next to the big M in robot mode, but these would be great for city mode scenes.

I bought Megatron, Optimus and Starscream online and they're great. Optimus has a great transformation, same for megatron. Why can't they base voyagers or deluxes on these transformations? That would be ultimate G1 Megatron / Optimus.
I really hope Hasbro'll repaint these 2 to death. Megaplex, Galvatron, Nemesis Prime, Ultra Magnus etc.

I dont care for legends, and I don't even own one, but if I see Optimus, Starscream, and Goldbug in stores I just might get them.0

Much love for these guys. Megs orange tip will certainly get the touch up treatment. I want all of these!

Getting the proper shade of silver to perfectly match Megatron should be fun but that orange tip is SO history. 'Bee's face will need a makeover as well to make him a proper Goldbug but for no more than what these guys cost, I'm willing to pick up multiples and do some modding to the ones that need it. Prime looks sweet and Prowl has that expression like he has a stick up his tailpipe so that's pretty accurate. Megatrons face though...he looks like he just got kicked in the bearings. Oh well, still snagging the whole set of 'em. May have to pick up 3 of ol' Screamer just in case they decide to not give us the other 2 Seekers.

This is HOPE! I can't wait to get Prime and Megs.

These are available from Woolworths / Safeway supermarkets in Australia (well, Kyabram Victoria anyway).

My Wife got me Trailobrea...er, Trailcutter while picking up some groceries... I'm thinking of going back for Prime & Megs but Goldbug can stay on the shelf IMHO

Can't wait to make a supressor and scope for Megs!

Yeah, I posted some pics of Legends Megs being held by Unicron (which works really well) and Bruticus Maximus with the FansProject add-ons. I also included pics of Megs with MP Prime and Skywarp:

In my honest opinion, aside from using those clear rubber bands, I cannot see how Megs fits with the MPs. The hands are just too small. I was afraid of breaking something. Even Bruticus needed banding help. Unicron (and maybe Primus. I haven't tried yet) is the one figure that works well. As far as the orange tip, I'm considering painting his whole barrel black. It might look pretty good in robot mode.

An observation on Starscream. His nosecone can come up over his head. Possible Thrust re-mold coming?

I'd like a gold repaint of Megatron called Browning. (He was gold on the cartoon)

I am one of the few who has always appreciated Legends figures. I just hope their availability is good because the last time we had a really nice crop of legends figures (the minibots wave) it was next to impossible to find them at retail. For some reason stores seem to carry a lot more movieverse Legends, which is unfortunate because those figs just aren't as nice.

Btw, am I the only one is at least slightly offended they made a redhanded Optimus?

That and Megatron's barrel is why I'm waiting to see if there will be a Takara release.
