Hey guys, I just wanted to share with the community a little something I did with my Generations Skullgrin in case you were debating on picking him up or not. I've gotta say, I was a little disappointed in him being a repaint of Straxus with new molded head (I know I'm not alone), but he's recently started to grow on me. I'll admit, I don't have a lot of knowledge of the character, other than he's based off of his original Pretender self. This isn't really a custom piece but I did mistransformed him so that he looks somewhat distinguishing from Straxus. Here's what I did:

-Left the backpack split into two to give a wing-like appearance
-Placed pickaxe in rear so that it becomes a clubbed-tail/tail launcher
-Gave him the original Pretenders Skullgrin's sword
-Left the chest panels closed

Not much was done but it certainly brings out a more "Skullgrin" look to him. I may be repainting later on when I get the chance but for now enjoy the pics and let me know what you think. Also, apologies on the quality of the photos; I used the built-in camera from my laptop.

He definitely does look slightly unique when mistransformed and I'm really happy with how he's able to grip the sword tightly.

Dude I liked how you added the original pretenders sword!

Funny thing about the sword, I just recieved it earlier today in the mail. I ordered it off of eBay last week after seeing this site's galleries on the original Pretender figure. It was a gamble since I wasn't sure if he would be able to hold it or not. The result is satisfying as this figure holds the hilt very firmly.
