yeah...wont get it, robot is ok, but vehicule looks like nothing, very ordinary.
the third mode is a joke.

I was sold on him before, now it's even more so. I didn't know he could be held by a larger robot like that.

So far I'm picking up all of the Basic Alliance stuff.

It's about time we had an actual G1 Sandstorm update. Not just weird buggies every so often. And what's with that evil-looking head?

Other than that he's pretty cool.

The head sculpt reminds me of Ironhide. Maybe this is Bronzehide or Copperhide.

That would make a good swindle repaint.

Why did they have to name it Sandstorm? He's not a triplechanger and looks nothing like the G1 Sandstorm.
The two have no correlation other than the name and the alt mode is a buggy.

He does look pretty decent though. A little busy on the detail in bot mode for me but good figure nevertheless.

Just don't think he's any homage to G1....... because he's not.

Forgot about that battle station mode. Plus i didn't look at all the photos or read all the text. Just jumped right in and put my foot in my mouth..........dammit.

Ok so Sandstorm and Skyhammer are top two on my very small Dark of the Moon shopping list.

looks awesome, the paint aps are a bit meh but the figure itself is great. Maybe we'll get a beachcomber repaint/remold down the road. Needs to lose the meatbag though. I think the HA and cyberverse are the best thing to be coming out of DOTM.

Cool figure. Nice that it comes with Ted Danson.

That human is **** i cant stand to look at him, The robot looks well good but Ben 10 comes to mind and the buggy reminds me of toy story a bit. I'll still pick him up.

A superb looking lil figure and I hope to see many, many more HA's of this class size. Not keen on the battle station mode but the buggy and robot both look very good.

I love everything about this. I'm especially impressed that neither the alt mode nor the robot mode have suffered to accommodate the "gimmicks" (which are more than just gimmicks IMO). OK, so the 3rd mode isn't great, but who cares? Since the other two modes don't suffer for it, you can forget that 3rd mode even exists and it's STILL a great toy - a great transformer with a cool alt mode, a cool bot mode, the ability to accommodate a human figure, and a bit of G.I. Joe flavor thrown in for good measure.

I'm really excited about this figure and hope to see more like it.

Too bad he's not colored like G1 Sandstorm, I'd be extremely excited about this if that was the case. Still a pretty sweet looking figure, I might just pick him up anyway.

I know this is something weird to say, but would'nt it be awesome if they made a Weird Al Human Aliance figure?

Well....Sandstorm ok, nothing to get excited about, still sticking with Skyhammer, Shockwave and Megatron for this line, but undecided to get any of them.

Definitely liking the design of him even more now. Outside of Shockwave, Skyhammer, Sentinel Prime, and possibly the Wreckers, the HA Basic line is probably going to get most of my money as far as DOTM goes.
