Hi, I just got RTS Preceptor and Wreck-Gar and now i need to start getting some Generations bought before DOTM and things become hard to find/afford over here if we even get them in the UK which means im going to buy them on line.
So i am after some of your thoughts on the last few generations figures as im sure some are better than others or mabey will become rare quicker and i would like to know how you rate them as im stuck on who is worth getting next.
Warpath and Wheeljack are down as a must have so the rest are.
.Scourge.
.Blur.
.Dirge.
.Kup.
.Thundercracker.
.Drift.
.Soundwave.
Thank you for your time.

Get Scourge, there are reports of people army building with him, which might make him a bastard to get hold of later.
Warpath seems to be shortpacked, too.
Dirge and Thundercracker are pretty safe bets too, being Seekers.

Scourge is a must!! not only for army building for his armada but just damn cool too!
Warpath is a BIG must! BLAAM POW!!
Blurr is cool, if you can find one with good paint apps
Kup is great too! if you cant find him, get the United version, hearing great things about that one.
Seekers, will always be around i think personally
Drift, i got the hasbro and the united version, really perfer the United one! just better color bright white and extra paint apps that look crisp and clean compared to hasbro.

It really all depends on what you want your collection to look like, but if it comes to rarity, I have to agree with everyone here in saying that Scourge is gonna be the hardest to find. He's in three waves, i think, but still, grab him first to avoid scalper prices. Wreck Gar is gonna be another one. I think they're gonna redeco him though, and if they do, that figure is gonna be on par with Scourge. Thundercracker will be a hit, but i don't think its gonna be as big as everyone says it will. Dirge and Thrust fell into this category. Still, pick him up next, as he's a GREAT mold. Next, Id grab the things that are going to be going on clearance, soundwave will be the hardest of these to score, following is Blurr. If you have a Meijer nearby, go there. They are doing a lot of clearance on transformers.

This is pretty much right on the money. These are the ones that appear to be the most scarce for the reasons Amelie stated. Thrust is another that you probably won't find retail at this point along with T-Cracker and Dirge. Scourge definitely seems to be one that is getting picked up in multiples, so get him if you have a chance. Warpath is one that I don't know if I will even see, frankly-collectors want him AND kids with no idea think he is cool...so, the rack will be bare.
We actually saw very little in Rochester, MN as far as Jazz and (Turbo) Tracks, so there are going to be a lot of places that might see most of these figures for half a second and then they are gone. Get 'em while you can, people.

Even once Dirge started showing up around here, Thrust has always been much more common to find. No T-cracks yet at all, but still plenty of Thrusts. I think after WFC Optimus and Bumblebee he's the most common Generations I've seen.
It's a great figure though, and I highly recommend it to anyone who isn't burned out on seekers.

Can't go wrong with Scourge, Kup, or Blurr. Dirge and TC are nice but loose their importance if you don't have the other Seekers to go with them.

You should get Soundwave no doubt! Especially Blurr if you see one. If you buy 2 let's have a little trade...just pulling your leg there bud!

Buy them all!!!
I suggest buying the figures from the earlier waves first as they are harder to come by in stores lately.
Then worry about the newer stuff which can be had at BBTS or robotkingdom.
My first Generations purchases were Dirge, Blurr ,and Red Alert.

I got some at toyzandgamez.co.uk which is a store in Norwich and is if not the best place for transformers in the UK thats were i pre-orderd Warpath and got Scourge.
Blurr and Dirge were on back-order at toyzandgamez so they were Ebay jobs i got them for the same price p&p inc that i would pay buying a single figure at TAG. The only downer was paying p&p as orders over £20 get free delivery in the UK. But the rest will be bought at TAG.

If it's Generations then Scourge.
If it's United then Jazz.

I agree here. Get them all now while they can be had relatively inexpensive.
