Hi fellas

If you had a choice between getting the DIA-clone version of the fansproject trailer for classics "Convoy" or keep searching hi and low for City Commander version which would you choose (factor in that you like the Ultra Magnus character himself )?

and better question is who is the DIA Powered Commander supposed be anyway? It's not technically Optimus is it?

DIA Clone Commander is an homage to the original Diaclone Powered Convoy, who was eventually repainted into Ultra Magnus for the Transformers line. See what they did there?

based on how you didnt really know the reference and that you would prefer a character you know, id say hold off and wait for a City Commander, you wont be sorry! also, as much as i hate to suggest it, you could get a KO. the only readon im saying so is there wont be any more releases so FP wont lose out, but thats just my opinion.

This is a tough one. Get the one available, or get the original and risk not getting either. Neither choice would be a bad one though. I actually own both and they are two of my most prized pieces. The City Commander is nice because you always have the option of furthering it with other 3rd party projects such as iGear's upgrade or the PE sets.

The DIA Commander is also a cool piece. But, if you choose to bite on him I would also encourage you to pick up another classics Prime as the set really turns your Prime into a new character.

If you can get the Powered Commander for a decent price (about $100 or so) you could get that then hope another run of City Commander happens at some point...and if it does, then you'd probably end up with both for what CC will cost you (or less) on the secondhand market right about now.

Thanx. As we speak I just shelled out the dough for a Powered Commander and Henkei Classics Convoy.... Should I have waited - , meh - maybe. But I'm sure it still be worth it though
