Are these guys reliable? I'm interested in some of their figures, but I haven't heard about them until I did a random search.

they have some decent pricing so I'm wondering if they are any good.

EDIT: I finally found some review sites about them and the rating suck. I think I want to hear what some of the members dealings if any have been with them so far. I'm thinking it will be worth it to shell out a few extra bucks from more reliable dealers.

Under no circumstance should you ever order from them. I have never seen a single person order from them, and actually receive the item.

I ordered from them and have been disapointed. I placed my order back in december and was shipped the wrong item. Shipped back the item as per their return policy and am still waiting for the correct item even though it was listed as being instock on the website. They say it's on back order and should come soon but mysteriously misses every deadline with the excuse it should be on the next truck from Japan. I have been tempted to cancel and just get a refund but the item I want is really hard to get for the price I paid anymore so I am reluctant to cancel but I am just about fed up. For the record the item is MPB-02 Dragon Kizer.

So no they don't seem to be reliable. However it's just my first and probably last time dealing with them.

How are they still in business? No one has ever said anything good about them.

So it's Hawaii based? Why not try the other Japan based stores?

as a long-time zoider, I've heard more than enough to never buy anything from them. LOST Cybertronian was one of the lucky few to even RECEIVE an item from them, most people just get screwed.

Wow, i'm so glad that I did not place an order with them.

I'm honestly surprised that they are actually in business after reading through 10+ sites about various reviews from their customers and zero customer satisfaction.

How on earth can everything they own be backordered? That seems like their standard excuse.

I had actually sent an email inquiring about the items I wanted and in the event they respond, I'm just going to tell them that I won't be ordering after doing some market research and learning just how piss poor their customer satisfaction was.

I remember when I ordered from LAFtoys a couple years ago and my order hadn't shipped after a week. I made a inquiry and the next day, I got a response apologizing for the inconvenience and due to a power out the item showed as shipped when he actually had on the shelves still. They shipped it that day and I got my Henkei and was very happy. Toys N Joys seems to make every possible excuse to have your money and not give you product.

Did LAFtoys finally die? I haven't heard about them as of late.
