Personally, there is no way I'd pay $48.00 for a $20.00 figure. I think he'll be well worth waiting for. I'm sure they will be plentiful as the shipments roll in.
But that's my opinion. What matters is if
you think you made a good purchase.

Yeah it was worth it. Being an early teenager I don't just hang my transformers on the shelf for display like adult collectors. I actually play with them. Even G1 figures I play with. Call me crazy.

but having preview prime and voyager megs, it'll be funny getting prime smooshed. Otherwise I think Megatron would be loads of fun to play with as a loner until the other toys come out. Thanks for your opinion!
Hey buddy, I'm a teenager too! You're not crazy. Trust me, I've seen crazy on this site, and it's not pretty. I love playing with Transformers. I mean, I actually
play with them, but I keep the packaging for displaying if it can be closed again. Heck, I only really starting collecting Transformers last fall...at the age of 16. TF was an on and off thing for me since 2004, but I finally discovered how great they are. So no TF purchase is really a mistake, at any age.
Only "normal" and "cool" people think we're crazy.
