Im diggin through some boxes with some old gi joe stuff in it and Im thinking "Ok not bad" Dig a bit deeper and find some He-man stuff and "Ok, getting better" After sifting though a dozen or so boxes with various cool vintage toys in them I find this lonely little shoe box towards the end. I notice one of the track pieces from an Omega supreme sticking up and I valut over to it. I open it up and well......I'll let the pics do it justice.

Let's just say this box cost me $25....

Jetifre is spoken for already, Omega supreme's electonics still work and he is 100% complete withthe exception of the cracked piece( visible in pictures) I think the constucticons are complete, not sure though since I never owned 1 as a kid. Soundwave is in rough shape but he's nice considering hes been in the bottom of a toy box for 20 years. the 2 dinobots( swoop and slag?) have loose joints but visually they look awesome. Already got plans for Jetfire but hes amazing, no yellowing, not complete but his joints are super tuff..Not sure what to do with megatron, never seen a G1 this close before

When you say Soundwave is in rough shape, how do you mean? He looks fine to me. Does he have his battery cover and weapons? -edit- I see his missile. I'm betting his weapons are stored in his back.

As for Megatron, bloody hell mate, that right there is gold in it's self!

im at a loss for words. incredible haul for 25 smackers! that hoist looks pristine, and it looks like you got the barrel of shockwaves gun mode there. wouldn't hurt to go back later and see if they've got more!

One side of me wanted to give more but the lady insisted that her price was fine. I wasn't about to argue Jetfire is gonna go to a friend of mine who had to get rid of his collection abruptley due to a sudden ex wife LOL.. Already got the broken piece on its way from ebay, suprised how many their were available :p Soundwave is just really floppy, but his battery cover is in place and their is a weapon inside, no tapes though.

Aside from jetifre the rest will be for sale eventually.Anyone intersted let me know via pm. Or if you want more detailed pics gimme a holler. Siebertron members get first crack at em..

Ah I couldn't remember his name!( im horrible with G1) he is physically pristine, his arms are a tad bit floppy but his chrome looks nice and the tires are excellent with no cracks.

I searched high and low for shockwave since he was 1 of my favorite g1 chracters but he was not to be found. Most of the figs just need a good cleaning and they'll be good to go..

See I hit yard sales week after week dreaming of a score like this and nada. I have found G1 figs before but they usually belong to a collector and want collector prices. Epic score!

So aside from the obvious reason of profit, why would you want to sell them?

Just curious, but something like that is a pride of place collection!

Well I don't collect G1 stuff mostly. I would love to keep them but they honestly don't fit in with the rest of my stuff. I know there are some die hard G1 collectors out there who enjoy collecting those rare and hard to find items. I personally like to help people find the stuff they want. To me the hunt for figures is what i enjoy the most, kind of like that show "Pickers" except just for figures

I know my friend who im giving jetfire too has shown intrest but I told him to not be greedy After I sort through them and get them cleaned up a bit more I will make a thread on the BST forum with some other stuff I need to move.

I feel like shaking you madly while screaming "FIND THE ROOM MAN! FIND THE ROOM!"

At least keep Megatron! I mean come on, it's Megatron! M-E-G-A-T-R-O-N.

Of course you can't have Megatron without Soundwave. So you need to him too.

Omega Supreme needs friends, I recommend Hoist and the Dinobots.

Damn dude! I'd love to take Swoop off your hands but I'm cranking down for Botcon. He's always been one of may favorite characters and I've yet to get one. He always goes for crazy money complete and unbroken. You got a steal here buddy. I'm happy for ya, that Jetfire alone is worth a few times over what you paid.

Great feel good stories you can only find in the US of A, congrats on that good find.

How I wish I could also find a Jetfire in that condition.

Some of those figures alone are worth %25. Some are worth more. I've never even seen a part of a TF at a junk sale.

Soundwave, Megatron, Jetfire, Omega Supreme, Hoist, Topspin (or whatever that repaint was called), one of the Dinobots (Slag I think) and Devastator in one lot? for only $25? You've struck on Transformers gold mate.
