Doesn't he, Optimus, supposed to have blue optics?

He figures that it fits his color scheme better. :P

Anywhoha, I kinda like Wheeljack, but I barely see any difference, other than Henkei's patented Holo-foil paint. I am guessing he'll be like Tracks in that respect.

Prime looks awesome, his color scheme looks really great, and the sword looks epic, he is awesome.

Scourge looks, well, Hasbro. He has some of the Holo-foil paint here and there, but he doesn't say Henkei to me, he just has a lack of chrome. In fact, all of these figures do have a lack of chrome, that surprises me, coming from a big chrome almost over-user like Japan? Eh, that really turns me off from these figures. And like JelZe GoldRabbit said, he has blue eyes! Why does Scourge have BLUE EYES!?

I doubt I'll be getting any of the United, though, I don't really want to pay the price. The only United TFs that appeal to me that I don't have of the Hasbro version already are United Cybertronian Soundwave, and United Jazz.

That's what I was just seeing in the gallery for Scourge in the link too. Glad you can confirm that. I would prefer red but purple works for me too.

O for Primus' sake... #-o I'm still going for United though, just saw that his eyes are painted over (badly). On the fence wit Laser Prime, even though I have the RtS version :P

Wheeljack doesn't look that great compared to the american release.

I'm not liking the emerald green at all :-? And the whiteness of the plastic doesn't seem to be an issue this time, comparing these pics to the Seibertron gallery :D

Prime is the best looking of the bunch and the only one I'll get. I'm happy enough with My Generations Scourge and Wheeljack.

Eh...they're just shiny. Not an excuse to pay forty bucks for something that would normally be ten.
I think Optimus is the best looking of those, but I'm more than happy with my Hasbro version.

You know, I was planning on getting United Scourge to serve as my Scourge with 2 Hasbro versions as sweeps, but this version just isn't different enough to justify right now. In the future if I can get it cheap, maybe, but right now, nope. Looks like my only United will be Jazz, Tracks and maybe Drift.

So far i have United Grapple and Drift and both are totally awesome and really loving Drift, it seems that the mold is whiter and alot better than hasbro. Cant say about Grapple yet and i have United Tracks, Perceptor, Wheeljack and Scourge coming. United Jazz is in route.

Why does Scourge look crappy?

Dude I whole heartedly agree about Drift. His whole look from front to back is just bold and perfect just like Megatron (IMHO) which is why I got the United version. You are so gonna dig Jazz when you get him...just pure top shelf!

But can someone post these knew images side by side with the Hasbro versions? If that can be done soon great if not well it's just a matter of time....'nuff said! :CON:

I remember seeing some comparisons for Scourge and Wheeljack when they first got announced, not sure about Optimus though. :-?

Can't say I agree. I'm really glad he isn't so sparkly or shiny as previous United figures. I'm happy for the subtlety. I feel he's just different enough to pick him out of the bunch. By bunch I mean the two Hasbro Scourges that'll be passing as his Armada in my collection.

Hmmm...Scourge looks kind of disappointing. The only thing I like is the location of the Decepticon symbol. Not enough of the shiny paint. I was hoping to get this one and have the Hasbro version be his sweeps.

I'll need to see some comparison pics for Wheeljack to see which version I will get.

ugh. why is it that i have never seen scourge transformed correctly. as far as i can tell his wings are supposed to be pointing downwards in robot mode. i mean why else would they be on a hinge that makes them rotate downwards like that. he cant use it in jet mode so i just figured. if im wrong then im wrong. but i think he looks better with them pointing downwards in robot mode. just sayin...

I like the Generations version of Wheeljack, Scourge and G2 Prime.

This time Hasbro got Wj and Scourge right. G2 Prime is more akin to Movie-verse prime in colors. However it is still not bad. In fact I'm not pleased with the blue windows and sword.

As for Drift, if you have Generations you'll be fine. Grapple is very similar to Red Alert where either you want the Cartoon styled head, or go for the G1 styled head. Both aren't wrong in my book.

The only figure that will really make you go "I must have him because Hasbro screwed up" is Jazz.

United Jazz is so much better in every way. Unacceptable is the word to describe how RTS Jazz looks.

Perceptor is OK, but the only thing I like is the clear chest plate...still the way retailers have made United go through the roof in price, I'll pass.

I got lucky with United Drift and Jazz because they were $22.99 and $27.99 respectively on Ebay. United Lugnut and Grapple were $48.99 a piece form a seller in Japan prior to the earthquake/tsunami disaster.

Speaking of which, TFSource jacked their price up to $55.95. The same price for United Voyagers. Probably realized they were the only ones left with it in stock.

I guess I got lucky when I got UN-Jazz. This guy on ebay from japan had 5 available back in February. The shipping was $13 from japan, but it got here so fast. So I bought some other items and the shipping went to $19 for two other items. Haven't seen any for the price of $27 since.

That kinda sucks they did that.

Really not getting anything looking at these. Yeah, Laser Prime looks better with the "extra" paint but his color scheme's just way to bland for this version (the orange windows of the Generations release kinda give him that little extra... something.) United Scourge is a complete pass now that I've seen what the metallic paint looks like on the figure (I wanted one to be Scourge and a couple Generations releases as Sweeps, but not anymore) and Wheeljack's emerald metallic green is just to bland/boring to look at.

Quite happy to keep to the domestic stuff now that these pics have hit the web. 'Cept for Jazz, for which I'm very happy I paid a little extra to get the superior United version. Kinda still wondering if I should get the United Rumble & Frenzy set, tho'. Don't think I'll be able to wait for Hasbro to release 'Demolition Frenzy' eventually or whatever. :-? Heh.
