I have the following problem:
Recently I bought a boxed SCF Overlord, and while it was dirt cheap, and is an awesome fig (I highly recommend it!) I've read that the boxes for the wave 5 SCF figures should contain parts for Black Zarak.
Now, my question is, does every box contain a part for him? The seller sold the figure as "MIB complete, opened only to check figure"

From Act 4 on, the SCF Figures had a part of a so-called "Build-a-Figure" of that Act, in this case Black Zarak of Act 5. To complete him, you'll need to find all the other figures in the same Act. Here's the list:

Ginrai
Metalhawk with Minerva
Go Shooter
Omega Supreme
Devastator
Starscream (Ghost version)
Convoy with Matrix
Overlord

The parts are not randomly included, each figure had a specific part. To make things more interesting, the pewter-colored chase pieces had pewter-colored parts for a pewter Build-a-Figure

The seller took it. Check and see if they're selling (or sold if you can) a Black Zarak. Every box had a piece though it was random and you had the pewter ones to consider.

Starting with Act 3, sorry, and they were not random.

And crap, I made a glaring omission. The parts, both pewter and normal colored, were included with the pewter figures of the act, not with the normal colored ones! The list again:

Head and Torso: Ginrai
Right Arm: Metalhawk with Minerva
Left Arm: Go Shooter
Waist and Tail: Omega Supreme
Left Leg: Devastator
Right Leg: Overlord

Convoy and Starscream are the regular chase pieces, and did not come with any parts.

Why? I just said the normal colored figures didn't have Black Zarak parts, didn't I?

I got a few of these second-hand, and they are great figures. The guy who sold them to me knew that few people around here would recognize the characters, so I got them for a good price.

I got Road Caeser, Liokaiser, pewter Lio, and a Pewter Victory Saber.

One more correction to this. There isn't a pewter version of Black Zarak, the variant figure in that case was a 'shadow form' clear/smokey version. Mega Zarak on the other hand came in colour and pewter versions.
