Where is RTS Windcharger?

What's the deal with RTS Windcharger being so difficult to obtain in the U.S.? It looks like he has been released everwhere else except in the U.S. Did Hasbro change their minds on selling them to the U.S. market? Are they planning to sell him under the DOTM line?

He's available, but he's shortpacked with Chopjaw(?) in a box full of HftD Scouts that few retailers are will to mess with.

He fell into a crevasse of korlonium crystals, and it TOTALLY looks like he blew up like the autoscout, but yeah right he's totally not dead and comes back at the end of the episode and rats out the fake Optimus Prime, which is totally Megatron up to no good. So the autobots kill the fake Prime and totally cheeses off Megatron, who punches Starscream in the mouth. Then Windcharger goes back to the stock room and kicks it with Chopsaw until tax season is over cause he's evading the IRS or something like that. It was a sweet episode.

I have wondered the same about Windcharger. They are all over Canada. Guess it's e bay for this one. Was hoping to find him on the shelf.

Not really, dude. They are like the DOTM toys, they haven't been completely released yet, although you can find cyberverses here and there, you can't find them everywhere. Stay patient.

Favorite randomy, flashbacky, smart-alecky response ever.
On topic, I still haven't heard of any sightings in my area, but I'm guessing even if it's short packed in it's first assortment, Windcharger might still appear mixed in with later ones?

They're all in England. Bloody shelf warmers piling up in the aisles, all over the floor. They're giving them away round here.
He's a pretty cool figure as well.
Note: this is the only time in history that a UK dweller can gloat over things that haven't arrived in the states 6 months previously.

I haven't seen seen wreck-gar yet, so things in my area are always slow.
I just hope to get all these guys before the movie stuff is all there is.

I wish they would start hitting the shelves..
Of course with a great deal of stores doing inventory right now, this is always a "rough time" to find new figs.

Really? I wasn't collecting at that time. It's still a rare occurrence so I can still gloat.
I don't mind picking some up for people and sending them but it'll cost you about $20. There are now two stores selling RTS in my area and one of them had a good stock of WC two days ago.

And I appreciate it.
Windcharger is a really great character. The transformation is a little dodgy first time but he's a really great mix of G1 homage and modern sensibilities with a lot of personality and great little C-jointed guns. Like a lot of RTS Autobots he looks really angry for some reason.
I can't wait for the inevitable Tailgate repaint. This guy always looked awesome in white.

Some of you will disagree with me on this but you guys have got to trust me. If you don't have the new Generations or Reveal The Shield figures on your shelves in the next couple of weeks, you need to buy them online. You will NOT see them on shelves during Dark of the Moon's main retail run. These toys were absent during TF1, they were absent during ROTF, I'm pretty darn certain they'll be absent during DOTM.
I'm also pretty sure that a lot of these figures are showing up in other markets because, guess what???, their currency is performing better than the U.S. dollar right now.
If you haven't seen these figures in stores yet, you'd better start buying them online from stores like BBTS, TFsource.com, and our other sponsors to the right on this website, or from online stores like HasbroToyShop.com or eBay.
Something's not right when I go to my local Target, that's usually pretty good about getting new figures in stock and their pegs are full of figures that came out prior to Thanksgiving, though supposedly Scourge and Kup were sighted there a month or so ago according to the Illinois sightings forum.

That all seems reasonable - that's exactly what happened with later Classics waves in the UK. It doesn't explain why UK online retailers can't get the new RTS!

Amen to this school of thought.
The stores near me are packing as many Generations / RTS on the shelves to make room for DOTM toys.
I doubt they will be ordering more Classics style toys although they sell like hotcakes around here. One day I am at Target and they have like 50 the next day the pegwarmers like Cliff jumper and Thunderwing!

really hope this isnt the case, but given that the new waves of rts and generations have only come in very small bursts, a case of deluxes at any store that i find has them, im starting to worry it might be. too bad that the last two i really feel i want (windcharger and grapple) are sold out at BBTS and TFsource

I feel the same way.
I really would like Grappel and Windcharger. You just cannot beat the G1 characters!

I am in agreement that something is amiss and this figure may not make a major appearance in the U.S. stores. It doesn't make sense that there have been nearly zero sightings for this figure in the U.S. (even if it has been short packed). Your explanation makes sense.
