we've seen a couple Gobots homages in Classics form in the past, do you think if Hasbro can, they should add more Gobots to the roster?
personally id be all for it

Technically not in Classics but we've had Crasher (Walmart Fracture), Bugbite (Botcon 07) and the RotF forklift repaint (forget the names...) off the top of my head.

I'td be awesome to do, but only if new molds and specifically them. Hasbro owns their rights, right?

Only to the names, but not the original toys, as they were Bandai property. So far, Hasbro has officially homaged:
Crasher with
Movie Decepticon FractureSpoons with
RotF DeadliftNight Ranger with the canceled
Movie BacktrackCop-Tur with
TFCC Cop-TurBug Bite is the same character as
BotCon 2007 Bug Bite, the only Gobot to do so. Though in all honesty Crasher came pretty close.
If the Seeker mold is still good to go, Hasbro or FP can't go wrong with Leader-1. We also need a new Turbo, Cy-Kill and Scooter.

We can probably add Reverb (ROTF) as GoBot Dart as well to the list.

What about the e-hobby repaints of the minibots with Go-bots names....do they count? But if some how that route were taken I think mostly good would come of it...'nuff said!

There are a lot of Transformers characters I'd rather see before we get any more GoBots.

The only one I'd want is a repainted WreckGar as Cy Kill using the Scraheap head.
I'd rather get more TF though first. Puzzler would be nice though.

I had them as a kid but have no desire to even say the word Gobot these days. Dang it! I said gobot!

Pure coincidence, really. As RotF Knock Out is a homage to BW Waspinator, Reverb is another BW homage to a different insect: Inferno. "Calany Racing" was supposed to say "Colony Racing", plus the "96" refers to his release year.

They were never officially named by Takara, as they feared to get in trouble with Bandai, with using names associated with Gobots who used Bandai molds. That was unfounded however, and the TFCC gave them their original names.

Yeah, but it wouldn't fit well with the Generations stuff.
Cy Kill looks kind of lame to begin with, but I think the Wreck Gar mold would give him some much needed bulk and really do a good job of actually making him look good.

We need a
Hubcap remold as
Tux.
As well as a new
Bad Boy - Uni Powerglide, perhaps?

Me, too. But, I wouldn't mind a GoBot or two sprinkled in each year.

Someone put up a neat pic of HFTD Tomahawk's head(very Leader-1 looking) on a blue HFTD Terradive body, it is just digibashed but it looks awesome, too bad I can't paint!

Why blue? Leader-1 was light grey.

Okay, I can buy that... but Dark Leader-1's blue was actually closer to grey than to that brilliant of a blue:

Off the top of my head, in addition to Dart/Reverb, other really good coincidence stand ins are HftD Highbrow as Bolt, Universe Sunstreaker as Pocket, and RotF Stalker Scorponok as Scorp. I'm sure there's more too.
