Mine had an unbelievably crappy face-paint application but no wing troubles.

Does anyone else think that QC is getting worse?

It's been going steadily downhill for years now. Either that, or we catch onto teeny-tiny errors more quickly, to the point of becoming anal about a microscopic smudge or after feeling a negligible difference in tightness.

Maybe we have become more sensitive about such issues. However I can't shake the feeling that recent budgeting constraints in manufacturing caused by this latest recession is contributing towards the increase in substandard product release.

Odd, I can't seem to find a single flaw on mine.

This.

But on point, none of the 3 Thunderwings I have bought have had any loose wing issues.

We're talking Thundercracker. You know? The blue unloved Seeker, not the one who dies all the time?

The only problems I have with mine is a red smear off his right eye; makes him look like he's wearing eye shadow. The other minor problems I have are in his feet where the hinges connect the two tail fins; they have stress marks. Other than that, the toy is in good shape.

What do you mean unloved? He's my favorite of the original seekers, and he and Ramjet tie-for first in my like of the jets.

Unloved as in being released later than other Seekers, being passed over by Skywarp.

I'd much rather have a loose winged one like you than none at all like me.

2nd 'Con I ever had was g1 TC, makes me sad how Hasbro and the retailers seem determined to let distribution issues keep me from ever attaining this new one.

I just cracked into mine and the wings do seem some what loose but no big deal to me at all! My TC looks good over all unless I spot something I didn't catch at first. IMHO it seemed to me that all the other jets/seekers when you put their guns on there was always 1 that was a bit loose. Anyone out there ever notice that? But TC's both guns feel perfect when pegged on.

I just thought I would throw that out there. I'm stoked about Thundercracker and he is worth the wait....'nuff said! :CON:

My TT is crying red tears. Tight wings though. Thrust on the other hand has a loose right wing.

I managed to get an order in at HTS for a Thundercracker, hopefully mine will be okay.

Of recent figs, the one one with the biggest issue for me was RTS Tracks. He's got one leg so loose he barely can stand. I really need to try some tightening techniques on him.

My Thrust and Dirge are both nice and tight, but my Starscreams (Classics and Uni2.0) both have loose sockets on the right arm, so putting the weapons in the proper place is kinda less than ideal.

to the O.P.:

i dont understand, are you just stating a flaw or do you need help fixing it? if its the latter, i would suggest taking the wing apart and adding superglue or clear nail polish to the joints, then after it is dry, re-assembling. ;)

I agree with RTS Tracks. Mine also has loose feet so posing him is a bit tricky
