What Transformers would you like to see as Legends Class TF's?

I'd love to see Unicron in the legends class. It'd be a great way for people low on cash (or unwilling to spend much money) to achieve a Unicron without spending $50 or so in the process.

None.

Seriously, I don't buy Legends unless it's something truly unique.

I would prefer it if they would abolish the line and just bring back Minicons.

Despite the fact that they've been done in the Scout class (which American collectors may ultimately not see), I think it would be cool for Hasbro to to do Rumble and Frenzy (and perhaps more of Soundwave and Blaster's minions) as Legends-class cassettes that are to scale with the vintage and re-issue figures (much like the Ravage figure included with Universe Deluxe Hound).

Also...these may be too obvious, but since hasbro has already given us Bumblebee, Trailcutter, Prowl, Jazz, O.P, and Starscream, why not do the obvious repaints like Cliffjumper, Hoist, Smokescreen, Silverstreak, Ricochet, Ultra Magnus (white), Scourge, and the other seekers? I know they wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but I'd buy them, and far be it from Hasbro to pass up re-using a mold as many times as they can get away with.

This. I have no desire to buy Legends. Scout-class is the smallest that can get good articulation and transformation scheme.

Take a look at ROTF Legends Prime, Legends of Cybertron Starscream, and Universe Legends Bumblebee, then reconsider your statement.

Legends:
Head Robots that have a Target Master & Bot mode.

Voyager:
Headmasters with neck articulation (use light piping technology and electronics to light up the eyes - stick to the formula Red-Bad / Blue-Good).

This one is free; the next one's gonna cost you. And you're welcome.

This. Great idea. This would actually make legends a worthwhile purchase and give the size class a true purpose other than being lame for the most part.

I have looked at them and I still stand by my original post. Believe me, I gave the legends a try, but just looking at them in the package and their price turns me off.

Seriously? $6 for one of them? I remember when that was Scout class pricing.

*Looks* Nope. Not a flippin' chance. As Robofreak pointed out, way too much money for not enough 'bot. Seriously, they're tiny and functionally useless!

definitely would like the Legends price-point being used for something more like Headmasters/Targetmasters or better yet those triple-changing Minicons there used to be, as opposed to small versions of the main characters. Having finally seen some of the Perfect Effect guys (Reject and Unwind ;) ) this weekend as well as the iGear Targetroids I think the Legends line could do well with this concept.

I realise that Hasbro aren't keen on making cassette TFs any more, but the Legends could be smaller characters (not even necessarily those who showed up in G1) who have robot or beast modes, and change into add-ons for the Deluxe and larger figures. PCC's Mini-Cons are a good example, in fact, I'd buy a few of those guys painted up in solid colours.

I used to think the Legends class was ok for new versions of the G1 Minibots but really looking at the Cliffjumper, Brawn and Beachcomber that I have, they're not a great deal better than the Diaclone molds, and can't even pretend to stand next to Classics BB and be believable in the same scale. I'm fine with the vehicle mode scale issues, but not such a huge jump between the robot modes. Scouts seem to have come a long way from where they were in past lines, so we could see some really good versions of a lot of old favourites in there, whilst using the Legends class for the Minicon idea and them being add-ons to the larger characters gives a huge element of "gotta catch em all" without the need to make these guys well known characters.

I give up. You are clearly one of the uneducatable about the good of the Legends Class.

To each their own, can we get back to the original topic now? ;;)

I'd like to see Hasbro attempt a Legends Grimlock, myself. I'm not much of a Legends collector except for the Mini-Bots, Primes and Megatrons.

I don't have those three (and I really wish I did, especially Brawn) but Warpath, Cosmos, and Wheelie from the same timeframe are definitely heads and tails above the original G1 molds.

Yeah, scout may be a better size class for a lot of figures, but for one thing, they don't usually make a scout class version of larger figures, it's usually a unique figure, which is great, but you're not going to get cheaper versions of the "big guys" which is why a lot of people buy them.

And scouts are actually kinda expensive these days, nearly the same price as deluxes but for a considerably smaller bot. A few months ago someplace, I think maybe it was Target, had deluxes on sale, but scouts full price, and the deluxes actually wound up being the same price as scouts during that sale.

What would I like to see? Hmmm... never really thought about it. Maybe more versions of G1 guys that have alt modes that wouldn't really fly on larger figures anymore. Like how the RTS Legends Megatron actually turns into a gun, well, hey, lets get a Legends Soundwave or Blaster turning into their old tape players. Probably too small to do their little buddies, granted, but it'd still be fun (for me anyway).

Ok, the argument aside, I have a few final G1 Legends suggestions:

Blitzwing!
Springer!
Ironhide!
Wheeljack!

I did buy the new megatron though. He's pretty sweet but i gave him away. I would have kept him if his head turned. He was quite poseable to my surprise.

There is no Toasterbot. If you're thinking of the transforming toaster toward the beginning, his name is Ejector.

Actually a scout/deluxe class unicron may be neat, to go with the legends class.

And of course I'm all for legends combiners and anything beast wars.
