Inspired by the recent nominee for the fourth spot in the 2011 Hall Of Fame, the world's most comprehensive Transformers toy galleries have been updated with the four Generation One Micromaster Transports! Erector, Roughstuff, Flattop, and Overload were released in 1989, and now they're immortalized in our high-res galleries! Erector drew the short end of the stick during Naming Day. He forms a semi cab, and mans a giant crane trailer. His Autobot Micromaster brethren is Overload, who also takes the form of a semi cab, and commands a jet/trailer. On the other side of the spectrum is the Decepticon Roughstuff, who transforms into a transport cab, and also tows a jet/trailer. And finishing off the quartet is Flattop, an evil jet who controls a aircraft carrier. Check out the images below!

Glad to see these guys in the galleries! I still have Overload, Roughstuff and Flattop. I can even remember pretending that Overload was Ultra Magnus, as I never had the real UM toy as a kid.

I still have a Flattop in good condition, and I've been meaning to get the other three, but now the price will definitely shoot up. :-(

I never much liked any of these, although I do have a complete Flattop (also in good condition), which is fun to pair off against Broadside (just like in his gallery here). The transformered vehicle modes were pretty bad: Flattop and Erector probably got the best ones, but that;s not saying much.

Of course, Seibertron's photography skills make these look a lot better in the galleries than they actually are! Great job as per usual.

I've picked up Erector, Flattop and Overload for under $10 a piece, shipping included. They pop up on ebay pretty often. The only one I'm missing is Roughstuff. I've seen him reach $25, probably because he has a lot of parts that are easy to lose.

Alternatively, you can wait a year when the Erector joke gets old, and no one cares any more.

Market prediction: Stock prices on Windbreaker and Backwind will shoot up astronomically in the coming months. Flare-up is looking pretty hot, too.

I always thought there was an irony in Erector's name and how his weapons were positioned lol  ...Erector was one of my fave's I still have him in Near MIB condition, he was my first TF when I came the states in 1990. I own all 4 characters and I gotta say, although they dont have the same amount of detail as today's smaller scale TFs, they were pretty cool looking for their time and well within the reach for those of us who at the time could not afford the bigger TFs...man this brings back memories

I like these guys myself. I've got Erector and Roughstuff, and I'd love to get the other two.

I got Overload when he came out, my friends always mistook him for a pint-size Optimus Prime  Many years later I got a used Erector, love the guy.

I have had Flattop and Erector since I was a kid and loved them both, especially Flattop. I always got a kick out of how he was a jet who transformed into a robot that flew a jet, lol.

The new cyberverse Starscream set kind of reminds me of him:

I was always a fan of the Micromaster bases.

I still have my Original Erector, one of my favorite Micromasters and he's in really good shape.

I also have a really banged up Jet transport for Flattop. Loved the fact that it transforms from a Aircraft Carrier into a Jet.

Both were Christmas presents back in the day.

I'll be happy to see galleries for Groundshaker and Skyhopper. Also had those, though they didn't fair as well through my re-engineering days. I liked to take toys apart but could never put them back together.

That's the funniest Erector joke I've seen since this whole meme started

And it's a blue Erector you want, it's a blue Erector you'll get. I present to you: Viagror

Considering Mudflap was repainted into almost Erector that's bordering on karmatically ludicrous.

I went through this stage around when I was 10 back in '87, I loved taking apart my Transformers ... I pretended that I was reenacting battles with the Scraplets, which appeared in the comics not long before then.

Shortly thereafter, I had a bout with Golden Lagoon reenactments. Ah the joys of being a 10 year old. :D
