Problem with my MP-1L

Hi all I'm new on this forum.. just got my MP-1L few weeks ago. Pretty pleased with it apart from a few minor QC issues. But today just noticed something after a transform. The red panel as you can see in the attached pictures are for the right hand side. :BANG_HEAD:

I rang up takara tomy after getting through the language barrier I'm told that they can't help me because I have brought the item in Hong Kong....

I doubt I'm going to get a very positive response from the shop in Hong Kong, as they are not very helpful in general after they have taken yr money... Is quite likely that they will say .."is like this" or "it has been made like this"

In a bit of a crsis here as this is hugely annoying for paying 890 HKD roughly 115 usd for a masterpiece... :BOOM:

Any ideas on getting a replacement piece will be appreciated!!! OR any comments will also be appreciated.

Thanks for sharing my pain!!!

Edit* sorry for games of spot the difference. Is the red ladder panel next to wheel arch

Where did you purchase it? A local shop or online? Either way, it would be worth bringing the issue up wherever you bought it...they might just surprise you, especially if they hope to do any future business with you.

On the bright side, it's not super noticeable...it took me a long time to figure out what the issue was. But I would be annoyed with it, too...especially when paying that kind of money.

I am not seeing what the issue is here. Care to go into more detail?

Never mind, just saw it after I posted. The only thing I can think of is to contact the place you bought it from.

Can't you just pop the pin and turn it right side up? I say this because the 4 circular mold marks indicate that the side showing outwards is the back of the piece. Perhaps it was just installed incorrectly.

Ahh - I see, never mind...

I'm still trying to figure out the issue. It's like trying to find Where's Waldo.

Haha.

Okay, now I see it. Yeah. Just pop the pin out and flip the panel.

The back side is different...would probably be more noticeable.
