Help Needed: G1 Shockwave

I'm considering bidding on a G1 Shockwave via eBay, but the seller admits it's missing its battery cover. So what I wish to know, is how noticeable will this be? How much of Shockwave does the battery cover occupy, and where is it located?

The battery cover is on his "backpack" and its pretty easy to pick up a spare on Ebay. ;)

I have a Shockwave and a missing battery cover will not affect him in robot mode at all. when the 'backpack' is flipped up on the Shockwave's back in robot mode, that area is hidden where the pack and the back meet.
I am missing his battery cover as well as the blaster tip/connector/whatever you call it. I'd trade some of my Joe stuff to get those parts. Guess it's time to hit the B/S/T threads.

Actually, that's not entirely true. I searched. Only two results appeared, each one costing nearly as much as Shockwave.

Not noticeable in bot mode...right on top and noticeable in Gun mode.

When did this start happening? Last time I was in a position to get a G1 Shockwave, the battery cover was going for much less than the figure was.

Last I checked Wheeljack's Lab had it for $25.00.
