Remember when the Legends figures came out,(Wheelie, warpath,Beachcomber,Brawn,Cosmos), and the scalpers grabbed every figure and re-sold them for the price of a used car? Well, now the same thing is happening all over again with the RTS Windcharger and I say to all collectors:BE PATIENT AND WAIT!!!!! I like to buy the newer figures when they are released but I've learned through the years of collecting that most of the time, buying a figure right away isnt the best course of action.Remember Beanie Babies and the chaos people put themselves through to buy the whole collection and ending up paying at least 5 times what they were worth.I recently stopped at a local flea market and saw the same BB's being sold for $1.50 per figure that went for as high as $25.00 per figure.I will admit its nice to be able to buy a new figure before they are gone but sometimes its better to be a little patient and wait for it because it doesnt make sense to me to pay a wad of cash for a piece of plastic that might end up being a shelf-warmer later on(Skullgrin,Darkmount,WFC Megatron).Sometimes, the longer you wait to get the figure you really want, the sweeter it is when you finally have it as part of your collection(I recently aquired a GN.1 Octane with all the accessories and got a great deal on it and I've been trying to get one for 6 years!).

Wheelie was hard to find? I didn't know that. Never had a problem finding that one, it was Brawn I never could find from that Legends era.

I believe in the pay now or pay more later philosophy. I'd rather spend about $40 to import an RTS Windcharger figure now rather than take the chance and wait for it. Too much going against it: rare, short packed, at the end of the line and now canceled in the USA. Sure, it may come out somewhere down the line but I don't want to wait. Knowing it exists but is not in my classics collection just won't do.

I think its a bad sign the listings for RTS Windcharger and Chopsaw have disappeared from Hasbro toyshop.com
http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/SearchResults.htm?SWD=reveal+the+shield&CDT=1303356804I don't think I would pay exorbitant prices for them on e-bay, but I do want a Windcharger and a Frenzy (or Rumble?) I also wanted a Wheelie and a Cosmos but never managed to pick either one up. oh, well.
