Nothing - but give it to me and I'll see it has a good home. :P

In truth, we'd need some better pics of that, really. And the only final way of finding out is to actually sell it.

Looks like this one...
http://diaclones.com/gallery.php?mode=a ... FColt+Robo
An earlier version of Masterforce Browning, perhaps Diaclone but probably made by 'Mark' and sold by Gig.
Nice colors though. I'd say it's worth around $25-$75, but that's a pretty general ballpark.

Nope, not even close to Browning. You're correct on what the figure is, but it's definitely not Microman or even Diaclone.

There were three types of Gun Robo in Microman:
- Walther P-38 (Megatron)
- Browning M1910 (Browning)
- S&W Magnum 44 (six-shooter)

The gun we're looking at is a Model O Colt M1911 aka Colt Government Model, by the Colt Manufacturing Company.

After some more snooping I found out that the toy itself is indeed produced by Mark, a so-called "bottom feeder" closely related to Takatoku Toys (though it had ties with Clover and Gakken as well) of Deluxe Insecticon, Deluxe Autobot and Jetfire fame. And get this: he was released under Convertors line as well, alongside his mate Focus Robo the camera (not Reflector!)

Actually, saying 'it's not even close' to Browning is stretching the truth: this really is pretty close to Browning. But yeah, the transformation scheme is different. I think I already mentioned it was by Mark in my previous post (you can see the logo on the box!): thanks for confirming that though. As stated, there's no direct association to Diaclone, although one could consider this a 'tribute' KO to the Browning M1910 Gun Robo.

I found this finished listing on eBay which looks like the same model (it's out of box and even with the cell next to it, it's hard to determine the scale), which (if it is) seems to agree with my guestimate of the price... Although this seems to be the Converters version.

That's why said "indeed". And you're welcome. :)

And I never realised he was that small. Wow. And since when did EBay allow toy guns again? Didn't they ban Masterpiece Megatron when it was released?

Not sure if there was a total ban but there have been a masterpiece megatron presence on ebay for years and there are plenty listed now. It's kind of a crapshoot as to whether ebay will pull a listing of megatron.

They did ban Megatron until Soccer-Mom's found something new to bitch about. Since then, eBay has decided that there are more important things to police than toy guns.

Regarding this toy - I say that it is not worth a whole lot given it's size and roots. Having the box definitely helps but I don't think you'll get anymore than $20.

Looks like a more crappy version of g1 megatron
