For the love of Primus, please tell me Sideswipe is mistransformed......

Seriously..?

Whirl's robot mode is kinda...blah. I'd like him for his gun mode with Bumblebee though.

The rest looks craptastic.

His legs extend much more than pictured via a sliding joint.

I do agree that most of these are craptastic. I'm also not sure why the HA Sideswipe set comes with HA Sideswipe while the Bumblebee set just comes with the deluxe figure. Hope they have different price points.

The Shock sword looks great. I love the Energon Megatron sword (the kids get real jealous when you don't let them play with it. I'll be like "No, you get the lightsaber and they start to whine :)

I was confused by that and came to the decision it was a new (awful) SS mold. What a load of rubbish.

I agree that the figures don't look the best. In fact, IMHO, they look kinda clunky compared to their deluxe counterparts.

However, I'm kinda confused, Ubertenorman...
Unless I'm misunderstanding you or I'm looking at the pics wrong, it looks like the HA Sideswipe comes with the scout-sized figure & it's the HA Bumblebee that comes with the mini-vehicle that converts into a weapon.

Though why any human would want to sit atop it when a 20-30 foot tall robot is wielding it in battle is beyond my comprehension. Especially Sam. He's the last human cast member that I'd think is some kind of an adrenaline junkie. *LoL*

And, knowing those people's luck that want to buy these figures, they'll be the same price point. It was the same way with all the previous HA figures. As for me, it looks like my money is going towards more deluxe figs than any others. And Voyager class Shockwave; he's a MUST buy. :KREMZEEK:

Well, from the looks of this I'll be keeping my money for a little while longer.

Leader Class Ironhide will be about it for me. Maybe Ultimate Optimus Prime.

Pic is kinda ruining it. I have the original HA SS. I liked that out of all the other SS molds. This one looks like they stood the car up, bent the hood forward and extended limbs.

The transformation seems very simplistic if it's correct.

EDIT: After looking at pics of the ROTF SS and this one...they are the same mold, right? This one just needs the shoulders lowered and legs extended. If it was done that way the fig would look more like it does in the site galleries. Definite pass then. Don't need another one.

I have been known to purchase a repaint or two in the past but these HA figs are are terrible. Whos selecting the colour shemes down there at Hasbro?? SS seems to have gone all g2 on us and the BB with all that grey just looks terrible Im afraid.

Definite pass on most of this but I am looking forward to the leader class Iron hide and the scan series are looking sweet.

Sergeant Chaos??? Are they for real? Yeah pass on most of these. Srsly hasbro aint gonna make no money this time around, Its all gonna go to the third party people who know how to cater to the fans more than Hasbro itself. Hell and I don't even own any third party stuff......well not yet anyway.

Only two that look worth getting is Sentinel Prime and leader class Ironhide and well Shockwave cuz....its Shockwave.

Each of the sets comes with a scout size figure that converts to a weapon. The one that comes with Sideswipe (Icepick) converts to a chain saw thing.

This figure is in the same size class as Backfire, which comes with Bumblebee.

Both have a suggested retail of $9.99.

What frustrates me is that they are releasing the Deluxe Cannon Bumblebee mold instead of the Human Alliance Bumblebee.

I'll be even more frustrated if the set that comes with HA Sideswipe retails at the same price point as the Bumblebee set.

Yeah, I'm sure it's the HA Sideswipe mold. Note the cannon on his left shoulder and the flimsy swords.

I think i would rather have the Shadow blade SS than this flash freeze assault version. but either way, that mold sucks like Hoover vaccums.

Why, why, WHY Hasbro?!?!?!?1

Why would you have such a great paint job on a SS mold and then put it on the crappy HA version????

I'm building a Deluxe Sideswipe army here and HA Sideswipe does nothing for me.

The scan series looks legit. The second repaint of the HA Sideswipe mold is.... lacking.
