Several members of Seibertron.com including ROARBO, ubertenorman, and DavidT have let us know about updated information on Hasbro.com's Transformers site, specifically about Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon characters. While most of the update relates to existing movie characters or new characters we already know about, there are some very notible pieces of information. The following contains spoilers so read no further if you're still trying to preserve the element of suprise for DOTM.

First off, Hasbro's update confirms that Soundwave's alt mode in the new movie will be the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG. Last year during filming, images of this car with Rosie's character Carly appeared online and there was some speculation that this vehicle could be Soundwave but the rumor was dismissed by Michael Bay himself on his ShootfortheEdit website. However, this appears to be some classic Bay misinformation as Hasbro has included Soundwave's alt mode description on their site.

Also of interest, Hasbro's list of characters includes Steeljaw. Not only is there a bio for Steeljaw's character but we get our first look at him. In typical Bay-verse fashion, he's not longer a cassetticon lion but now a bio-mechanical, Bulldog-looking creature. His bio says that he's a sidekick of the Wreckers but since this is the first we've heard of him tied to the new movie, there's no way to tell at this point whether he's a toy only character or if he'll actually appear in the movie.

EDIT: As many of you have already pointed out, it appears that Steeljaw will be included as a companion "targetmaster" with Leadfood. He appears on Leadfoot's arm in the photo below.

And finally, new news about DOTM Autobot Wrecker Leadfoot. The other day, it was rumored that Leadfoot may be a Target store exclusive in the US and may be in limited release overseas. Now, Hasbro reveals that Leadfoot will be included in the Human Alliance lineup. The new figure includes a race driver with matching Target red uniform and helmet.

Heh, not to sound all snooty, but I 'knew'* the 6th Wrecker toy we'd see would be a "clean" HA Leadfoot.
*Well, guessed. There was a definite pattern going on.

Having three different Dreads to rival the Wrecker trio is pretty cool, too. Wonder if the movie will have that.

It's a good thing I have a great deal of respect for you or I would so give you a ration of @#$% for using the word 'adorable' in reference to a DotM figure.

Seriously though, I was totally stoked to hear about a Steeljaw figure and then I scroll down and, as with almost every other DotM figure, I find myself thinking "that's it???"
I figured we would get some spectacular, stand alone figure but this thing is basically just an updated ActionMaster weapon like Catgut or Top-heavy and likely not much bigger than either. That's not necessarily a bad thing since I happened to like both of those figures/weapons but I guess I'm just a bit underwhelmed. That's still better than how I feel about most of the 3rd Movie line though so I guess it's an improvement and I'll still get Steeljaw if only to display him with his G1 namesake.

HAha, in your face Bay. only a few weeks and you wre caught in your own lie. Soundwave=Mercedes! And im still Hoping the BLue collar Comedians do not end up voicing the wreckers... but eh... might happen they are all added to shopping list.

I agree. To me, it looks like Leadfoot has a "beer belly."

I love the HA wreckers, here's hoping they do the lowes car. I actually prefer it when they are in their stealth force mode.

Well there goes hoping the last wrecker would have a decent robot mode and please tell me that steeljaw is a kiddy version. Soundwave better not be a goddamn Mercedes, thats worse than him being a truck again. The only character that was done pretty good in these poopy movies & bay just has to ruin it in the last one. How the hell can he be a spy if his alt mode is a flashy car? Should've either kept him in his cybertronian mode or gave him an alt mode that can actually be used to spy. Just get this movie crap over with i cant take the stupidity anymore. On another note why do i have the feeling that the wreckers are all going to be rednecks & the dreads are going to be rastafarian?

I like how Hasbro updated their site with all of the new bios and stuff, but they REALLY need someone to edit everything. One of Blackout's pictures is of some random helicopter that looks nothing like a Pave Low helicopter and has an Autobot symbol on it, and OP's weapon is listed as battle blades, when the picture looks like it shows his ion blaster! I'm pretty sure there were more mistakes too. I'm not one to complain too much, but really they could get these right because it's so obvious.

That's the biggest spoiler I've stumbled on, and I KNOW Im gonna regret it.
From now on, Im not looking at any posts with possible spoilers. Dang that sucks. I have a HUGE feeling that was gonna be an awesome reveal in the movie.

Honestly im with you all the way on this one.I got a feeling that Hasbro and Bay are duking it out with trying to keep old SW's alt mode a secret

Hasbro:"Cmon bay,everyone else has seen the alt modes..."
Bay:"THIS IS MY MOVIE!!! SOUNDWAVE IS MY SECRET SPY OF DOOM!!!"

I got the feeling that they are planning on retooling Skyhammer so they can make another Blackout.

Indeed. Nothing but failure seen here. Ugly Leadfoot bot mode, steeljaw looks ridiculous, and soundwaves a car... great. Oh well, least he gets to be German, haha. No..no laughter. Just yawns.. angry yawns.

I Love the way Leadfoot looks ,and Steeljaw is really cool .The one thing i will be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy with is that Soundwave will be the Mercedes, .Why you ask ,well for like 3 months i have been hearing (reading ) that it was Wheeljack and he would look like Albert Einstein ,and that made me feel like this .So i hope this is right only so the Wheeljack thing will be wrong .

Hmmm... has anyone else noticed that Steeljaw's tongue is lolling out of the side of his mouth?

As for Leadfoot's bot mode, am I the only one who noticed his human partner sitting on his chest? looks like parts fold around and create a "seat" for him in front of the figure. I'm betting the normal bot mode doesn't look as potbellied.

I just got back from the new site, apparantly Steeljaw Roadbuster's pet...

Steeljaw looks like a soppy puppy whats going on with that toung hanging out .

Both are Mercedes. The blue sedan is an E Class. An SLS is the coupe with gull wings.

Nope, sorry. There are 2 Mercedes. Soundwave is the silver sports car and the blue one is "Wheeljack" who does look like Albert Einstein. We've see him.

My hopes go up and down for this movie. The trailer looks awesome...what trailer doesn't?...that's how you sell moive tickets. But then when we see and hear of stuff like the nascars being rednecks and voiced by the bule comedy tour, makes me know I'm going to hate it. My fear is coming more and more that DOTM will be nothing more then cool trailers and more Bay horse ****.
