Hasbro has posted a new image to their official t.sina.com Micro-blog of a previously unseen Deluxe MechTech Rathcet repaint. This version comes in a red deco and has the MechTech weapon originally packaged with Deluxe Skids. Also shown are high res images of Topspin, Shockwave, and Ironhide. The images have been mirrored below.

I never cared for movie Ratchet so I got no desire for this version but at least they gave him a decent weapon for once...'nuff said!

W.O.W!!! This repaint rules!!! wish him was that color in the movie!!!

Is this the obligatory Ironhide repaint of Ratchet?

you know I don't care for that mold of ratchet as is but i am liking that repaint. I think he might be my classics First Aid.

More like Rescue Ratchet with the colors reversed. You know, this may be a throwback to the initial draft of Ratchet, which portrayed him as a red Fire Emergency vehicle. Those colors would end up serving as the main inspiration for Movie Inferno, a Toys 'R Us exclusive repaint of Armada Red Alert.

A little early isn't it? Usually they break out the repaints after everyone bought the first color.

God Im happy with any Ratchet. He's my fave Autobot. Curse you Michael Bay for making him a less cared for character! WISH YOU COULD PLAY AS HIM IN 2007 MOVIE PS2 GAME

I like this, but I don't see a use for it in the collection.

I'll put it on the maybe list.

I like the new color scheme. However, what I really want to see is a new voyager mold for Ratchet.
He deserves ...

Not bad for ratchet..face looks a lil wierd but that could just be overly shopped pics... on the plus side, Shockwave looks like he might just have balljoints on his wrists... that.... MIGHT just sway me to get him... might....

I don't have a Ratchet yet and was already planning on getting one of this mold. I REALLY like these colors--now I have to decide which to get.

now i know hasbro likes screwing with us, we all want a red ironhide but they decide to make ratchet red instead. Yes i know that was his pre-production paint scheme but still come on hasbro.

wow! I am annoyed of Ratchet repaints but that is gorgeous, I wish he looked like that in the movie, seriously OMG I want dotm deluxe ratchet but if I get this I won't get that awesome mech tech saw that green ratchet comes with

The colors for the repaint not only are similar to Ratchet's initial concept design for the first movie, but it also reminds me of the actual rescue Hummers that were shown in an older news story, around the time that GM was supposed to have been selling the brand to a Chinese manufacturer. (I can't remember whatever became of that...)

I will have to say that I actually like the MechTech saw weapon, mainly because that was Ratchet's main display of badass in the first movie, using a saw to cut off one of Brawl's arms.

Either Photoshop chicanery, or we're actually going to get a ball-jointed wrist. I feel I would rememeber seeing it in a Peaugh review though... who knows.
