Takara's non-transforming Transformers were on site for the 2011 Hobby Show in Shizuoka, Japan. The much anticipated Dual-Model Kits were on display, as DMK01 Optimus Prime and DMK02 Bumblebee were fully built, and showcased with their packaging as well as their respective sprues placed behind them. These model kits will feature an inner-frame, and snap-on parts. These are set for release on June 25th. On the opposite side of the spectrum from the Dual Model Kits is a non-transforming 1/144 Starscream alternate mode replica. No word yet on how much this piece is going for. On behalf of Seibertron.com, we congratulate Shizouka, Japan, on their 50th Hobby Show! Check out the quick snaps from blogger Cybergundam below!

OMG, put them in better poses if you are planning on selling any of them. The poses we have seen them in before are vastly superior to these. Optimus Prime looks very cluttered and Bumblebee looks very skinny. I know they look better than these pics.

Prime still looks fantastic, I just can't see myself parting with that kind of dough for a model. A really cool one, but a model nonetheless.

So they do come pre-painted, still need a bit of paint touch ups but damn. No main line DOTM toys for me, only these model kits.

You'll be the one placing the eyes (stickers), so don't worry about it!

I'm so looking forward to these.

I really wish they didn't come with a preassembled frame.

I like to build it all myself.

Lol Bumblebee looks like he will need more paint than Prime.
Man, make more of these Takara, at least Megatron and Starscream.

These look great! If they make a Megs and SS I'll get Optimus and those.

Prime looks amazing. It bugs me to no end that we don't have a DoTM Prime that looks close to this and be transformable at the same time.
