Classics Astrotrain? Why does this make sense?

Not to mention he looks geriatric. I feel he should have come with a wheelchair.

Not saying it is a bad figure. Vehicle mode is especialy good. But old 'Megs just looks sick IMHO.

Any other thoughts on this figure?

Its a truck, with a rotatable tanker = awesome. Im still holding out for the chronicles one though ...

Although I agree, I still think robot mode looks sick.

I think DOTM is by far the best movie Megatron out and next to Leader Optimus and Starscream and Battle Opps Bumblebee as the best movie figures out.

Its a Takara 2 pack of this voyager megs and a reissue of the G1 megs. That's all there is too it (besides some paint diffrences). ;D

Can not agree here. I do prefer (at least at this moment) the ROTF Deluxe Megatron.
Not saying he is "bad" just not as good IMHO. Never know maybe his robot mode will grow on me.

he looks sick? I think thats a good thing. He got blown to bits at the end of ROTF

I love this figure I will prob be getting Sentinel Prime on Tuesday

mmm I owned Megatron about a month before it was released. Just to be perfectly random, I have 5 DOTM Figures:

Cyberverse Preview Pack Optimus Prime
Voyager Megatron
Leader Sentinel Prime
Cyberverse Commander Ironhide
Cyberverse Commander Megatron

I'll have to say that Megatron does throw off in scale however please do note that Hasbro made bigger toys back in 2006. Heck I have Cybertron Hot Shot almost reaching Megs' height.

I measured my Classics Astrotrain with DOTM Megs. Astrortain is up to Megs' shoulder. That is not the "same size". And Astrotrain feels lighter. You may have Megs' legs a bit shortened.

Its one of the best mold of megs I saw along with cybertronian megs and classics megs

On another note, I guess I'm one of the few who isn't smitten by it. Great to hear (see) others peoples thoughts on it though.

This is reminding when I was weighing the Animated figures and finding them to be lighter than older figures.

I think Hasbro is using a new type of plastic for certain figures. Depends on the mold though I guess.

I've had DotM Voyager Megatron since the end of March, and I liked it. I displayed it all April in robot mode, which I like, and he does look sick, because if you know about DotM, he is sick. Or will be in the movie. Whatever. Now I have him in truck mode, and I think I will buy a Deluxe Prime to go with him, because in truck mode the scale is right. I just wish Hasbro had made a Leader Class. The truck mode definitely warrants it. But maybe Megatron won't be a really major character, so he's not getting one. Shame.

for me symmetrical figures are an essential part of my collecting although there are a few exceptions i really like his proportions(i say this based on reviews and photos as i dont own him) even bot mode and finally an earth based mode. even if they dont make a leader i think hell do nicely regardless of size weight.

He looks tiny, but I like that Hasbro finally worked out all the body issues he's been prone to (Movie 1 Leader was really kibbly, RotF Leader had strange arms). Megatron finally has a body that functions. I just wish he was a Leader.

In that case, you are right. LOL Prime and Megatron in truck mode together also make an out of scale pair. Then again, Bee and Ratchet, uh, the Camero is bigger than the Ambulance. So many scale issues

In vehicle, Classics Prime is taller, however in robot mode he's about the same size. I don't know about Bludgeon, though.

This gave me an excuse to pull out ROTF Bludgeon ^^.

They are actually shoulder to shoulder. Though Bludgeon is MUCH bulkier (and kewler).
