I guess there had to be SOME bad luck in my Friday the 13th lucky find. I opened my son's Wheeljack last night and really like it. I opened mine a little bit ago to display and both of his hands are left hands.

I've seen other threads with mention of similar mix up's on various TF's lately but WHY MY WHEELJACK???!

Oh well, I'll call the Hasbro customer support Monday and see if they will do anything about it. Have any of you tried to get Hasbro to replace a wrong part before? If so, are they good about it or am I stuck with an all lefty Wheeljack?

As of right now hasbro is really annoying me

Don't even bother. Hasbro will want you to ship the figure to them and then they'll give you a RANDOM replacement.

Just wait until you find more and then exchange him.

Or hold onto him. The error hand may be worth somethin down the road.

True. I'm not getting too worked up about it. No way I'd send it for a random replacement though. I'm sure I can get another hand at some point. Maybe some of the kitbashers will end up with an extra right hand they would sell or something.

I don't think QC issues are ever worth more...

They can become more valuable but it only usually pertains to a short run of errors that are visible and still sealed in original packaging. Mine won't be affected in value either way I don't think but it's only a matter of time before I come across someone willing to sell a right hand or a cheaper remold of the figure or another figure with the same hand mold. I'll get it eventually.

That's not really QC, though. That's more a version difference... Sure, that version may have been a result of a mistake, but I still don't think it's quite the same thing.

You should call the store you got it from and ask for a replacement of some sort. That's what most people do.

Yeah, that's a lot worse. When it comes to wrong parts i admit, I got lucky. My 2 left hands isn't that hard to correct. It's all good.

That reminds me. I wrote into the hasbro contact service as my universe sunstreaker had 2 left jetpack flaps. That was in 2008 and i still havent gotten a responce. last year, 2010, Red alert came out and THEN i could give my sunstreaker a jetpack ...
