My copy of SP only says "I am Sentinel Prime". Over and over and over. I thought the previews we had of him showed him having 3 phrases. Something about What has become of the Allspark and It's good to see you Optimus.

Or am I doing something wrong?

My HFTD leader Optimus only says one phrase as well. I thought there should be more but I never checked it out. It is disappointing.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed about that. That's all mine says too.

So I'm not the only one with this issue?

I thought he was also supposed to say "It's good to see you Optimus" or something like that.

You need to put a weapon into the MechTech port on Sentinel's right shoulder, the one with the metal bottom, to enable the other two phrases.

I'm usually not one to nitpick stuff, but that is ridiculous. I can genuinely say that I do not like the fact that I have to use a mech tech weapon from someone else in order to make the figure work properly.

I found+bought a sentinel yeterday. I pressed the button on the chest on the toy to hear the voice. I was surprisse to hear weird "Stevel urkel" english accent voice come out of the toy. the voice sounded kinda weird & punny. maybe my toy has a broken voice chip volume thing going on. or?

Well bugger. I will have to try the pen method since I have no mechtech weapons. Thanks for settling the matter guys.

But I am in the same camp as robofreak. It's kinda crappy they did it this way.

I wonder if they'll release a version with Leonard Nimoy's voice? If it truly sounds like him I'll buy another SP. *geek*

your doing something wrong, you have to have a Mech Tech weapon plugged into the port with the button in it for him to say the two extra phrases

I thought you were going to write "Sentinel speaks alright... its just that...

Seriously is it that difficult or would it cost that much to have the real actors voice the Leader class figures? only Prime has had this treatment, am I correct?

That's my biggest problem w/ the voice. It may have been a matter of timing. Maybe the toys were designed and manufactured before Nimoy was selected or available. Maybe it costs too much to use his voice, he may have to get paid for that separately.

Hoping there's a re-release w/ him tho.

Don't know why everyone is making such a fuss about having to plug a weapon in. Just mount his shield on his shoulder. When you have the gun part popped out it looks like a shoulder mounted cannon.
