I didn't plan on buying any of these, except maybe Powerglide, but I ended up buying Ironhide and Blackout too after I saw them in the store. I think I might go back and get more. (Oh, and I already had the OP "preview" figure.

These figures are really cool! Nice paint jobs with shiny silver and nice details, decent articulation for their size, cool transformations, and some neat accessories. Ironhide has his blaster cannons, Powerglide has two handheld missile guns, Blackout has a cool little Skorponok that doubles as a gun, and OP has his wings and guns.

And they have some nice little details. The barrel of Ironhides gatling gun spins nicely, Blackouts rotors spin well and Skorponok has a double-jointed tail and a fold-out silver handle for gun mode.

There's a lot of coolness packed into these little $8 figures!

They're a bit smaller than Scout. They're more like slightly oversized Legends with much better transforms.

They are more awesome than I thought too.

I was thinking of starting a Cyberverse discussion thread but then I saw this and figured it would work.

I was impressed with Preview OP and after seeing more photos I had high hopes. I was not let down with Megatron, Sentinel Prime, and Ironhide, though his left should does like to pop off in transformation.

The coolest part is the ability to add or swap weapons. For example, Ironhide can be fully loaded with OP's jet pack (guns attached) and his own cannons on his doors. Even better will be when the new OP with those more accurate guns is released. I'm definitely going to put those on Ironhide at some point. Much like Mechtech, the clips and peg holes add to the playability of these new "Micromaster" versions of deluxe (legion) and voyager (commander) class figures. It's because of this that I disagree with Peaugh about shortening Ironhide's weapons pegs. If you do that their use will be limited a bit as currently they can be held underarm in combined form for a massive Gatling gun.

I only picked up Crankcase and Barricade on the legion scale. I'll wait for Bee in the hopes that I can get him with that weapons carrier thing cheaper later on. As for Starscream, I prefer the paint on the standalone figure to the one with the ship, and all it comes with for him is a big gun. At least Bee gets a winged jet pack. Anyway, Crankcase should have been made commander class because he's an SUV, but other than that he's not bad. Barricade to my knowledge is a retool. What I don't understand is why even with the new molds they don't give them two hands for weapons, especially for the figures that clearly have closed fists which could have been molded in the open "c" instead.

I haven't seen Blackout yet. I'm pretty sure I only saw wave one so far. I'm looking forward to OP and Megatron with their trailers. I also hope we get a Megatron with different weapons like OP. I also hope we get all three wreckers in weaponized form, though I may only pick up Roadbuster.

This is looking like the line to collect this time out, and I'm glad because it will cost less. :P In theory... :-$
