one of the Member(also a toy store people) said he found the KO Sentinal Prime.

but before everything, he is using the Chinese Offical edition to do compare...and my English suck...I knew....



the different that he talking about, is the feeling of the box, and...



of course, we dont have Chinese words there. if we have, that will be a big bug!!!! god dmn bless I dont have to see that dumb name in Mandarin.



and the other different is: the Iron Mark, and the factory info, of course, since different area, the Chinese Edition will have different info from ours.
and Im not sure, but my Iron mark is not on the buttom of the box, it's in the back of the box...so this still not a main point.

ok, here's the main point.



the KO one will have 2 wheels in his leg....



this is really a main point, but here's what am I thinking about, will this one really a KO one? if someone wants to make a KO, why he will make SP's leg like this? I dont think it will save more money when he do a different part from the real one, right?



and basic by the offical picture, 2 wheels on the leg will be the way that SP suppose be, right?

so here's what I think:
1, maybe this is just a QC problem of the SP, like the crankcase's finger, if the iron mark before 105, will have uncut, if 106, cutted, so like my SP, have iron mark 106, of course the folded wheels, but how about 103~105? let's keep our eye open, to see what's going on.

2, the other chance of this issue, maybe someone put the loose one back to the box and re-sell. Yes, this will happen in China, sometime they will get the Loose(or they call sample, or early bird?), but sometime they may have chance to get the box, just the box only, then they will put the loose one back to the box, and make this happen...


still, let's keep our eye open, and see what's going on.

Thanks for the info on this xterry. It will be interesting to find out if this is really a KO (I hope not) or as you mentioned an early return that wasn't transformed properly.

Actually I've always been amazed at the interest in KOs. They abound here aplenty, and they all look crappy.

If not for the "Evil Demons", I think its quite hard to tell if its a KO.

Too good to be KO. Im sure he's comparing china to US versions...

I the last 4 I could find for $47.99 usd a piece if anyone needs 1 id be happy to ship for price I got it. I love it, I'm willing to give away 2 for any fans like myself.

Nowadays, "stealing" a mold is very likely as simple selling someone a copy of a computer file for a CAD program. That means there's no missing physical property to account for.

I'm reminded of the recent thread here that pondered the virtues of moving manufacturing of these toys back to the US. One advantage that I don't recall seeing mentioned is that crimes like these would be easier to identify and prosecute (and maybe even prevent).

I don't think the fact that the wheels are tucked up means that it's a KO. At my hobby store, I've seen Sentinel Primes with the wheels both tucked up and lined up in the same batch of toys. BTW, there's actually a space in the plastic tray for the wheels when tucked up, so it's probably just individual factory workers packing the toys up differently at the assembly line.

EDIT: It ain't no KO. I just transformed my Sentinel Prime for the first time, and the wheels are supposed to be tucked like in the supposed American KO version. This is probably old news for those who've already transformed their SPor watched a review, but the hollow space is supposed to be covered up by a flap.

We can all buy our Sentinel Primes with a peace of mind.
