Problems with RTS Bumblebee

Since I have hardly seen any RTS figures yet, I got RTS Bumblebee from Amazon a few days ago, since he was pretty cheap. I opened it last night, and there are some QC issues, and they're much worse than just paint. The first, and least bad, issue is that the two leg panels on his hood don't stay flush with each other. A worse issue is that the windshield won't clip onto the back of his rear legs in vehicle mode. This may be what causes the final, and worst, issue, or it maybe something else on its own. It is that the doors cannot both attach to both of the parts on Bumblebee (the leg and the back) at the same time. I can push them together so that they are mostly staying, but it still doesn't look right, and they pop apart after a few seconds. This renders him useless in vehicle mode. Has anyone else had any problems like these?

It seems it all comes down to alignment. Bumblebee legs bend at the knees, naturally and they have to be in a very precise position for it all to come together nicely. As for the hood, make sure the legs are all the way down.

I tried bending the knees a little differently, and that seemed to help. He can now transform into vehicle mode with few problems. I guess I had figured that I had to be doing it right, since I already have the original Classics BB and Classics Cliffjumper, and haven't had any problems with them. Thanks!

Sounds similar to how my Gen Thundercraker was a lot harder to get his canopy into his chest properly than any other use of the seeker mold I've had.
Mold degradation would be my first guess, but it seems weird that both Thrust and Dirge were fine. TC has a bit of a "cheap" feel to it overall, so maybe it's a lower grade of plastic or something and that threw off the tolerances.
How does your RTS BB feel, plastics wise, compared to Classics BB?
