This one kinda slipped under the radar when got the scans of DOTM Deluxe Laserbeak's instructions, but it appears we could be getting a DOTM Deluxe Buzzsaw repaint/remold. Laserbeak's instructions reveal an alternate head, and now that DOTM Deluxe wave three is starting to turn up at retail fans are taking notice. Keep in mind we are only guessing this repaint will be called Buzzsaw, but it would seem to be an obvious choice since G1 Laserbeak and Buzzsaw shared the same mold.

that is what i expected laser beak to look like originally, not a turkey.

and if i do get both of them i will call ''buzzsaw'' lazerbeak and lazerbeak buzzsaw

Agreed, I got my wave three Deluxes today and Laserbeak is ugly as Hell. This one is much more menacing.

They should have just used that one in the first place. Looks way better than the Lazerbeak head.

I'm hoping the CGI'd Lazerbeak in the movie isn't quite so ugly. Maybe it will change the appearance to see it in "realistic metallic" styling.

I hope the colors on this one are good. If not I'll buy it anyway and swap the heads.

if lazerbeak got such an ugly head in the movieverse think of what ratbat would look like.

or any of the other mini bots blaster and soundwave carried!!

just imagin what takara's paint work would do to the turkey or better yet this new ''buzzsaw''

the remolded head looks alot better than the original, with the right color scheme it might make a good figure. Probably wouldnt call it laserbeak or buzzsaw but thats just me, so far ive renamed about 50%(maybe more) of all the movieverse figures ive gotten over the years.

If this is true, I may just pass on Lazerbeak and wait for this one. The head really rocks

Meh, Headswaps are good when a figure is awesome like Sunstreaker or Sideswipe. But with this figure not so much.

Now my opinion could change once I see the character in the movie.

Well this is still not confirmed. It may never come out. That or come out in a different line. We shall see.

I have a hunch that its a prototype... remember when prototype heads for Starscream and Ratchet were used on their Protoform and Titanium packaging, respectively?

I'd still prefer a Legends Laserbeak. I reckon the crazy head won't look as crazy in the film due to better proportions.

On topic, I hope they do give us a Buzzaw repaint. Now the head on the original toy looks more like a turkey, but whatever its still Lazerbeak. I dont believe any of these drawings of alternate heads on instruction sheets will ever exist. Theyre just drawings, thats it. Theres no credible evidence that any molds were ever actually cast for these new heads.

We did get Axor, Skullgrin, Cliffjumper and we will be getting Space Case and Vortex, so hopefully some will see release. I just really want that Black Shadow!
