Got a bad Voayger Ironhide

I knew something was wrong with it right away because the neck was really loose to the point where his head would stay up. All of his arm and leg joints were also loose, so that he couldn't even hold his gun up. Then when I tried to transform him, one of the legs broke right off. The plastic just broke apart, like it was soft or something. There was no "snap", no resistance. Luckily I got my money back.

It was from Walmart, and the lot number was 10501.

When I get Ironhide I'll be aware of that. We'll see if that's a manufacture problem.

Same lot number (10501) for my Voy Ironhide as yours. And mine had an arm snap right off during transformation. They used some very silly mounting pin things for his shoulder joints, and they are entirely undersized and under strength. Also one of the front wheels pops out every time you rotate it. Doesn't take much at all.

I fixed the shoulder (I hope) with superglue. Glued the pin back in. And I may build up the swivel joint on the wheel with superglue as well. If these fixes don't hold, I kept the box and receipt.

Both from the same lot and both with different problems. Fun fun.

Mine was also from Wal-Mart. Mine is lot 10571.

I've had no problems with it, though some of his joints are a tad loose.

I've never seen a TF line actually have problems based by lot number, before. This is new territory.

EDIT: First, Crankcase and his "manicure", and now Ironhide. This is really something else...

Has anyone ever tried to track problems by lot # before? It was the Crankcase issue that inspired me to check the lot # of my busted Ironhide and post it here. Maybe we SHOULD start checking that more often.

WOW! sorry man, but my first Skyhammer was like this, nothing broke, but extremely loose joints everywhere and the MECH weapon actually jammed and couldnt use it. i got my money back, but Skyhammer seems hard to find around my area all of a sudden.

Are the DOTM still coming from China or Vietnam? and it doesnt help that the resin hasbro is using is lesser quality too.
