Something you might not have noticed about DOTM toys

Of the Voyager class and deluxe class, with the exception of the first Bumblebee and Thundercracker, all of the Autobots' eyes are blue and all of the Decepticons' eyes are red. This is a nice touch. I prefer the light piping for the eyes over painted eyes though. That light blue they're using for the paint doesn't do it for me. Kudos to Hasbro for paying attention to this small detail.

Yes I notice it. It's not something I pay attention to much, I expect them to be blue and red on :BOT: and :CON: (respectively). Call me a GEEWUNNER.

I too perfer light piping.

Hmm, my deluxe CC eyes are just piped red. Hardly tell they are there and of red plastic. In fact I was thinking of painting mine red.

So is he another exception?

No ... piped red is the same as painted red. Just meant they're red.

Unless, by "CC" you don't mean Crankcase

Yeah, because Bumblebee has black eyes (no paint or pipe) and Thundercarcker is yellow.

Well we'll have to add him to the list of 3 exceptions out of about two dozen or so toys.

I haven't noticed, but now I'm going to look at it.

One thing I did notice were red Autobot logos on Skyhammer. That's a nice throwback.

I myself am a fan of silver faction symbols, but I can appreciate going back to basics every now and then. Just makes the Skyhammer figure all the more awesome.

I think I now have everything except Jolt and Thundercracker. I'm missing all but one of these Cyberverse, but I'm not worried about getting them.

I totally agree about the proper light piping over having the eyes painted over. For example, Wreck-Gar from Classics. His eyes really look terrible when light shines through them.

Skyhammer has yellow eyes though eh? very good. i like the mix. He's the next on my list when i stumble across him. Excellent looking figure IMO.

Have you added Ratchet to the exceptions? He has green eyes.

I got a little tingle up my spine when I took Shockwave out of the package and his eye lit up red.

I too had a little tingle go up my spine when the light hits just right! Also, RTS/United Lugnut is the same as well.

I have no condition of the sort, otherwise I wouldn't be able to see a quarter of my transformers in color.

Maybe its the lighting that Mykltron has on the figure, even on the box it's blue.

As close as I can match it the colour of his eyes and windows looks like this. I call it green and according to the code to create it there is more green than blue in this colour. Does this match your Ratchet? Pics online of him are definitely more blue than mine.

So this colour isn't the same as your Ratchet? Looks like we have a European variant then.

Nope. Mine's Exactly this color.
It may be so that we have a European Variant...

If one of us had that condition don't you think we'd be diagnosed with it? And we haven't, so, for the 3rd time in my life, I give the fail stamp.

Wow, two colours that really can't be confused. I'm surprised it's that dark though, the pics I've seen of him have light blue windows.

Oh, wait, I'm sorry, wrong color >_<

Yeah, the windows are light blue. His eyes are actually this color.

How'd I get that screwed up anyway O_o
