Takara Tomy has updated the Official Transformers website with the following new information:

a) Tokyo Toy Show Exclusive Transformers United Dark Side Optimus Prime & Dark Side Megatron

b) At the same event that scheduled on 16 & 17 June 2011, Transformers Dark Side Moon DA-15 Jetwing Optimus Prime will be available for pre-release purchase. Actual release date of this figure is scheduled at the end of July 2011.

c) Takara Tomy is also planning to showcase the upcoming Transformers Masterpiece MP-10 New Convoy at Tokyo Toy Show 2011.

d) Lawson Exclusive Transformers Dark Side Moon Dark Side Optimus Prime. This figure is available for purchase together with the Transformers Move Dark Side Moon movie tickets at Lawson stores in Japan.

Really liking the Jetwing Prime! Hope somebody with review it soon! :grin:

And is it me, or are the Energon Blades missing from it? :-?

Jet prime costs $190 USD and no chrome! that's the price of 4 leaders if ur in US or 2 leaders if u live in asia. And a jetpack is so not worth the price of an extra leader.

May buy ONLY if a a) chrome ver comes out b) price gets cut to $115 USD and under.
If not im sticking to the voyager one or MAYBE ultimate prime. :BANG_HEAD:

And no, From the trailer, prime only has 2 wings, and 2 smaller fins on the thruster, not 4 butterfly wings

Man, I really wanted the black movie Prime repaint until I saw all that yellow plastic. Maybe if it was gold painted, but I can see why they wouldn't do that.

Jetwing Prime looks great, and judging from the movie trailer, pretty accurate except for the lack of Prime's blades. It's a shame that it will not be made available domestically for a more reasonable price. I just don't get it with these types of things. American director, American made film, no American Jetwing Prime. Wouldn't it be great if we could at least get the jetpack and guns as a mailaway or exclusive? Oh well.

I agree, Leader Jetwing Prime looks great. But for such expensive figure, I really miss the silver-paint treatment given to Leader Buster Prime.

Who knows ? Maybe Jetwing Prime will be the base for a Movie Masterpiece Prime, that will have much more paint applications ... for another price doubling :-)

It's you. The Energon Blades are part of himself, not the pack. You can find them in ROTF Leader Prime.

He always had the Energon Blades.

The blades were probably removed in order for the jetwing pack to work properly.

Thanks! Thought so...Probably another modification specific to this version (as is with the chest). I already have the Buster Prime, so that's why I questioned it! Hehe

WHAAT!? It's worse enough they use the Hasbro's Leader Prime...They even modded out the blades!? And not to mention...190 USD!? :BOOM:

As for the black Voyager Prime...Well that one I know is a screw-up in the first place...Because the mold itself sucked and it's way too expensive for a REPAINTED voyager...As for Black Deluxe Prime and Megatron,well that one I already commented on the original post @_@ and I could care less about the MP Prime since I dont even like G1 Prime >.>

I woulda been all over that Jetwing Prime if they sold it here for $80 like the Ultimate version, as much as I want him, I don't think he's worth the premium price for import. If he had the chrome paintjob and pin-striped flames, then maybe, since I never picked up Buster Prime.

Agreed. That price is an insult. There is nothing even "premium" about it. Yet another Transformers licensing failure that doesn't bring us a more accurate main character from the film domestically.

The point is, Jetwing looks better than Ultimate, judging from the trailer.
