****!! . I got him and Crankcase for my first buys i like Crankcase a lot even his mechtech but when it came to Roadbuster.. bust a nut i did not!.

How boring no paint apps in robot mode on his body the apps in car mode took a 20 min search to find a good one,
That crappy little green head,The whole car might aswell be formed on his back and no articulation.

The only 2 good things about him in robot are the shoulder rockets which dont look good on him and the fluke that he can loosely hold his mechtech in his hand.

He will remain in car mode untill i get the other 2 wreckers and probaly still then.

You won't be getting Juan Pablo Montoya's Target car as they are not making a deluxe of him. So, your wrecker collection will remain incomplete for the forseeable future.

To be honest i could easily throw him in the bin its the first TF ever! i wish i never bought, Im just gonna keep my hopes on 3 HA wreckers because if he is anything to go by the delux wrecker collection will be incomplete forever .

What's the deal with Roadbuster? Why did Hasbro choose to make his deluxe version look like a typical NASCAR racer but his upcoming legends and HA he looks nice and wicked like Topspin?
How stupid! :VEHI:

Anyone else feel this way about Roadbuster? I for some reason have been avoiding picking up the two wreckers..

No articulation (the vid reviews looked like there was some articulation)....

Any more input?

I bought Roadbuster for my son, but I have not transformered him from his car mode. I like is car mode, but the mechtech weapon is stupid because it will not stay in chainsaw mode.

So they made a deluxe non-armored roadbuster, an armored topspin
HA armored roadbuster, non armored leadfoot.

Nice going hasbro. now we cant get all 3 wreckers of the same scale.
(even the leigion class has roadbuster as the odd one out who has armor)

I have both Roadbuster and Topspin. Roadbuster is OK and has decent articulation, but he looks like crap compared to Topspin. His shoulder cannons look sick and he has fair articulation. He also has 1 Mech Tech weapon and 4 other detachable guns. If you're going to get one wrecker, I'm going to have to point you to Topspin at best. Why do you think they call him Topspin?

That's why I'm not buying him. The bot mode looks like they forgot to paint it, and it's basically a shellformer, or as you said, a robot wearing a car on his back. I wasn't aware of the lack of articulation, but that's an even bigger sin to me.

-Agree with the lack of paint. So much detail in the mold and no paint to show it off...shame.
-Sorta agree with the huge backpack (I can live with it)
-Completely disagree that he lacks articulation. He has great arm and leg articulation. There are some panels on his arms but I've seen worse.

I like Roadbuster.

CB, just grab one at WalMart. If you want a movie figure, he's $10 of fun.

His weapon on the other hand is $20 worth of fun.

So as you can see, there's a considerable bargain to be had.

He's ok. His gun is better than the toy. The carvings on the saw part look like teeth and it looks like it's biting the gun when you try to retract it. It never gets old...maybe one day though.

Man, you just described half of the DOTM line in general. Roadbuster has better paint apps than Megatron and Sideswipe for sure as they are just the color of the resin they used to manufacture them. To cut costs. And maximize profit.

I would say there are more bare resin parts than painted in this line in general. I have only bought Shockwave, and Roadbuster for my son. My mom is a huge Nascar fan, so i'm sure he will also end up with Topspin as well, but that is all. Everything else is basically regurgitated stuff from the ROTF toyline for more money and less product. If Hassbro is looking for ways to save money they need to recapture all the Skids and Mudflaps still warming clearance shelves and regrind them.

But I like Roadbuster better than Topspin. Topspin is ridicious looking as his face looks like he has a mullet and the sports shades on. I'm sure this was probably Michael Bay's idea, right along the design for Mudflap and Skids.

What an asshole.......

I haven't tried it, but there's no reason for them not to be. They all operate on the 5mm system, so as long as there's no odd tolerance issues, you should be good to fun n' gun.

I think he's one of my favorites of this line along with Crankcase.

How do we know for sure that we aren't getting a deluxe size Leadfoot?

The Mech Tech is, but sadly, none of the other four guns can fit into Roadbuster's hole. They will just flop around there.

The guns fit well on my Roadbuster.

You can take all 4 of Topspins guns and attach them to Roadbuster's vehicle mode.

We don't, actually. It just hasn't been confirmed, so people assume such. If they have a Wave 4, I want Deluxe Leadfoot, Deluxe Mirage, Deluxe Wheeljack, Voyager Silverbolt, Voyager Hatchet, Deluxe Crowbar, and Deluxe Soundwave, in it

It is not a definate, but more than likely we will not see him. Why? Because he is a Target car. Even if we do see him it will be a Target exclusive as I don't see Target being cool with selling their brand at a Walmart and vice versa. Morons should have thought about that before signing Montoya's race team to the endorsement.

I actually think he's pretty cool. When I first saw pictures of him, I didn't like him much, since I didn't think he'd be able to turn into his weaponized mode, and since I thought his robot mode looked too plain. While I do still think his robot mode is a little plain, I really like his vehicle mode, especially since you can deploy the missile pods and attach other weapons to make a weaponized mode. I bought him partly as an impulse buy, and partly because I love cars that have hidden weapons.

If that were true they wouldn't make any Leadfoot figures.

I think that we are most likely going to at least get a Deluxe Leadfoot in the form of a remold of Roadbuster or Topspin (although I hope it's a completely new mold). After all, the HA Leadfoot has Target logos on it, and it's a new mold. If Hasbro would go to the trouble of making a new HA size mold just for Target, it wouldn't be surprising if they would be willing to do something similar for a much smaller figure.
