Whats the Worst Dotm figure

Hi guys, poppin down to toys r us dis week and wanna know what are the worst dotm figures and which should i pick up. i got a few at mind. speaking of which, Shockwave and Megatron, but are they worth it compared with all the rest???

I would avoid buying Voyager Ironhide since we are getting a Leader Class version of him in the near future.

clipped Crankcase, eff that. even my wife is outraged, and shes not a big fan of transformers to begin with.

Shockwave and Megatron are pretty great. Megatron is a bit of a bore because of his dull colors, though.
At all costs, skip Skids. He is really bad, the worst IMO. However Mudflap is awesome.

If you get lucky they might not be clipped too bad. I was able to take an exacto blade and shape them into normal looking fingers. It all depends how far you want to go with it though. Save your reciepts and return them if they're not to your liking.

Yeh, i would but Mudflap isn't in retails yet but when hes out i'll get him.

Lets be honest, Skids is pretty unlucky in the figure stakes - even since G1, he's been pretty ****.

G1 skids wasn't that bad - he had a decent robot mode, even though everyone kept claiming his micro hatchback Honda City alt mode was a minivan for some reason...

I originally hated the figure
so im glad im not gettin him. I might get deluxe Crankcase, i kinda dig him.

I wasn't overly impressed with Leader Sentinel Prime at first but I started to like him more and more and now I love him.
Leader Bumblebee and voyager Ironhide are on the 'avoid at all costs' list for me.

Why the Skids hate? The character sucks but the figure's decent enough.
I'd say avoid Voyager Optimus Prime. Battle Blades is an infinitely better Voyager Prime mold. Second would be Voyager Sentinel Prime. The trucks really got the short end of the Voyager stick.

Actually, not plannin get optimus, got Rotf leader and battle blades. So really don't need this voyager. But if I were to get it, it'd be one wid trailer

IMHO,Thus far the worst "colored" DOTM toy is Deluxe Roadbuster. that white in the middle of the car mode looks awful.
IMHO,The worth half baked mode has got to be deluxe Sideswipe. It looks like some ripped off the roof. I've seen poor executed convertible TF's before. but DOTM sideswipe takes the cake.
IMO,as far as the worst over-all design sculpt goes. my vote goes towards DOTM Human Alliance Basic Series 01 - Thunderhead with Major Tungsten. the toy reminds me of the Cybertron 2005 scout toy called Scrapmetal & Beastmachines Scavenger.

i dont have the voyager ironhide but im not getting him. he just looks bad
as well as skids.
leader BB, also i really dont like how ratchet looks but i will get him. also, if i get a clipped crankcase i will just sharpen his fingers or give him new ones

Lets play a game. Place all of the DOTM figures in a big circle on the floor. Now place an empty beer or soda bottle in the middle of the circle. Give the bottle a good spin. Whichever figure the bottle points to, thats the worst figure. The cool thing about this game is its replayability. You could spin the bottle 100 times and still get the worst figure of the line. Its results are 100% accurate.

Maybe he doesn't like the movie aesthetic. I don't. Its messy, and everything is too thin. The idea the movie designs have of having unseen parts of the alt-mode as part of the robot mode is totally the wrong way round as far as I'm concerned.
Its a robot that turns into a car as a disguise not a car that turns into a robot.
Theres a huge difference between the two.
I am by no means a G1 fanatic - I've had figures from all generations in my collection, other than the Movieverse. Nothing about them appeals to me.

I think of all the unseen interiors parts as part of the disguise as well. The more detail that goes into a disguise the more effective it is.
Anyway, if I had to pick a worst out of what I've got so far It'd be a toss up between Crankcase and Sideswipe. Crankcase loses point for being manicured and his dreads not budging making them unable to fit anywhere in alt mode(at least on mine). Sideswipe has a pretty good bot mode, but his alt mode is a fiddly nightmare of lining up panels. I've never been able to get everything to fit.

I'm not
suggesting that at all. I'm flat out saying that DOTM is a terrible disgrace for a transformers toyline. Wave 1 has virtually assured the rest of the future waves of absolutely zero chance of sharing any shelf space with any other lines in my display.

Actually i thought Jolt would be mentioned, but i keep hearing that he is the unsung hero, but at the sametime it would be nice if he was in DOTM with the rest of the Autobots.
