I'm itching to buy a Megatron... but which one?
So, I've realized that there is a huge hole in my newer TFs collection; no Megatron! I do have Galvatron represented but more and more I really want 'ol buckethead to have a place on my shelf as his original identity. So here's the thing; I collect both movie and cartoon based TFs, so I'm not sure what Megatron to buy. DOTM Voyager Megatron would provide a great nemesis to my ROTF Voyager Prime figure, and my Movie Decepticons are sorely lacking in leadership. However, Cybertronian Megatron is all kinds of awesome, cheaper, and an overall better fig IMHO, but he seems a touch redundant (although much better engineered) beside my Universe Galvatron.
My Cartoon collection is larger than the movie one, and is fairly well balanced in numbers between Autobot and Decepticon. My little movie Collection is slightly weighted in the Autobots' favor and missing a leader for the 'Cons - and I'd really like to fill that gap.
So, the kid in me wants Cybertronian Megatron, but the collector wants DOTM Voyager Megatron. I have limited space+cash so I don't want both... please give me some advice on which way to lean! Thanks!
EDIT: Futile dream or not, I'm also kinda hoping that down the road, Cyber Megs would get a re-paint/tool as Galvatron, which I could then replace my Uni Galvatron with... but I wouldn't really want two of the same mold in this case... just a side note since I doubt it would ever happen.
