The face of the franchise since 2007 has been the yellow camaro, Bumblebee. Since the blockbuster movie four years ago, we've got incarnations of the character end over end. The third film brings the first variation of Bumblebee into the Leader Class scale. The figure has made it's way into the toy galleries of Seibertron.com, and you get a 360° high-res look at the behemoth. Is this the Ultimate Bumblebee? Yikes that thing is pretty ugly, don't we have enough Bumblebee figures out yet? Didn't they just do a battle ops or whatever Bumblebee only a few months back? I still think the absolute best Bumblebee is the HA, in terms of scale with other figs, articulation, mold, basically everything it can't be topped, and I saw this guy at Target, he's almost as tall as Sentintel, how the hell does that work?

I love the alt mode, and the Mechtech mode. I have to prioritize, tho, so he'll have to wait. Great gallery, Ryan!

Yeah but Battle Ops Bee and HA Bee can't do this.

Yea but I really don't need them to, at no point in any of the movies or comics does he do that, maybe the new game and possibly the new movie. That aside I saw a review for this, that is one big solid piece that just plugs into his back, it's not incorporated into him in any way, its just a big piece that sits on his back, kind of lame.

Nice, but grossly out of scale with the rest of my collection. As it stands, deluxe Battle Blades Bumblebee is the perfect Bee, as far as I'm concerned.

Incidentally, I just bought DOTM's deluxe Bee, and it just makes me appreciate BB Bee that much more. The Mechtech gimmick does nothing for the toy at all--silly in alt mode, and doesn't look that good in bot mode. No ability to lock the big gun mode is also a bummer.

Also, the gray plastic used to connect his roof to his "spine" is soft and feels cheap--I was afraid I'd break it during transformation. Overall, it has the simplified aesthetics of a scout fig[or commander, or whatever they call them these days] which I don't appreciate on a deluxe. While I generally don't regret buying a TF, I actually wish I'd stuck with BB Bee this time.

Well, one positive thing I can say about DOTM Bee is that the spoiler and modified hood of his alt mode looks pretty cool. He's probably going to be the only TF in my collection who will stay primarily in alt mode.

He does indeed do it in both the game and movie my friend and it looks awesome in my opinion. :D

Well I guess since this is DOTM Bumblebee, and apparently in the new game and movie he does this that's kind of cool, but I still think they should have incorporated it better instead of just put this huge piece on top which does not store anywhere, you just set it aside when when you don't want it. I personally don't like Bumblebee's new look anyway, I prefer the older 2010 look as opposed to this new 2011 version with the body kit and spoiler.

Oh gee wow for something that have a budget of 42 dollars this guy sure sucks more than the HA version which have a budget of 30 dollars.IMO this what makes him sucked :-

1) Unpainted hands
2) You can see the arm bits through the window in alt mode
3) The mechtech is cool in vehicle mode but in robot mode = Crap.
4) Too huge in comparison
5) The cannon looks worse than the HA's
6) The shoulder suppose to be bigger

But I gotta say...His weaponized alt mode is awesome and his chest is the most epic out of all BB there is.But for a Leader class...He's just not worth it.

PS : Please dont counter-comment me. Because this is ALL MY OPINION.It doesnt affect your decision or whatever. But it sure as hell effects my desicion.Cause seriously last time I dissed a figure based on my opinion someone goes ahead and said that what I said is "wrong" -.-...

Such a shame that after millions of BB figures, here comes the 3rd movie and a leader class toy and they still refuse to give him 4 wings.
