What would BotCon be if it didn't cover all Transformer fans? Take a look at the newest series of Transformers for the youngsters, Playskool Heroes Rescuebots! The Hub will also be airing a new cartoon series based on these guys sometime in their 2011-12 line-up! Gotta get to those younger generations to ensure the brand lives well into the future!

So we'll actually see a cartoon series where the Autobots live in a base that's Optimus's giant head, and everyone has to enter and exit through his mouth???

Wow, it's like Hasbro's actually bought into all of Raksha's theories about him being an obnoxious, self-important egomaniac. And they say Hasbro doesn't listen to the fans!

Next Op will be telling us that Primus himself gave him the matrix and there were no previous Primes...no wait!

"Why, Autobot propaganda, Mr. Berger..."

Heatwave: "C'mon team, we've got to save those kids from that meanie Megatron. Do you remember how to stop him?"
*silence*
Heatwave: "That's right! We've got to say: Stop, Stop, Stop Megatron! Say it with me!"
*silence*
Heatwave: "Stop, Stop, Stop Megatron!"
Megatron: "Oh man! Well I'm foiled!" *blasts away*
Heatwave: "Go, Go, Go!"
(Autobots save the kids)
Heatwave: "Yayyyy!"

Ah, Robo-dora :^)

Yeah, if anyone thinks that there will be Decepticons in this show, you're nuts.

This is for the Preschool age range, and yet so many haters just blindly refuse to let those kids have their own show like this.

Is it really so fair to hate on this when, once upon a time, everyone was this age and had no problem with it and, even if you've grown up and moved on from that age, no one will force anyone to watch this who doesn't want to watch it?

To say that no one should give this show a fair chance is basically telling all the fans who have toddler-aged children and grandchildren of their own to shield this from their kids' eyes and deny them the right to watch a show that's made especially for them. :BANG_HEAD:

Er, are you referring to trash-talk from previous Rescuebots threads? Because I didn't think Gyrotron's or my comments were as mean-spirited as what's often said about the Bayniverse stuff. As you said, there won't likely be any Decepticons, so I think the Decepticons' views on a revisionist history in which they never existed being taught to human children would be an interesting topic for a future mosaic or something. In that sense, I am glad they're doing something like this, and I probably will watch it out of curiosity.

Yes.

I wasn't really responding to anyone in particular. It was more like a preparation for any anticipated negative feedback from those "anti-kiddie" haters who refuse to admit that this epically hardcore franchise that they so love and adore is really a medium to sell children's playthings to youngsters. ;)

For what they are, the toys look rather neat. Like an oversized Legends figure with some HA features.

I'm liking Bumblebee's robot mode. Reminds me of his Animated counterpart.
