Does Hasbro hate DOTM Sideswipe?

I picked up wee little Cyberverse Sideswipe the other day, he's pretty cool. However, The little kickstand on his left foot is wrong, it's the part from a right foot, so it's upside down and doesn't fold away completely. No big deal, hardly noticeable.
Now today, I bought Deluxe Sideswipe, and damned if he doesn't have the same problem! This one takes a little more work to fix, I popped its rivet and flipped it over, now I need to stiffen the pivot and cut the groove in it for the alt mode to work properly. Yeah, I could've exchanged him but I'm lazy. He'll be just fine once I'm done.
What are the odds that both classes have the same problem? Anybody else have this issue w/ Sideswipe?

Actually, I think Primus just doesn't like you.
I haven't had much for QC issues latley, but they are kind of rampant sadly.

Yeah. I think Primus does hate you. My deluxe Sideswipe is great.

My deluxe Sideswipe is missing part of his windshield. It's like they didn't use enough plastic in the mold.

Wow, that's almost as bad as the guy whose Takara Gen Wheeljack didn't have a head.

It's only about a 1/16" sliver on the right side. I can fill it with modeling putty and paint the whole thing black, so it's not a big deal.

This is why I've become beyond picky when I go to buy a DOTM line. I really give them a good looking over and compare each one. I got Shockwave the other day and picked up all three there to look over each one before choosing. With ROTF or the 07 movie line I didn't really do this.

I've been checking them for paint errors and the like for a few years, but it was the only figure they had that wasn't Bumblebee, Skids, or Crankcase. I do minor touch ups on a lot of my figures anyway so this is nothing new for me.
