Ok, so most of you are probally thinking "why the hell is this dude posting bout devastator" well i need to know whether i should get him, i had him before, but the hand of scavengers snapped off. so is it worth getting devastator again (i had ez collection last time) and is hasbros version better?

Did any of yours break in the same spot or somewhere else?

I had bought this guy. I had to return the first version though because Hightower broke during the first transformation. After returning it for another I do like it, however I can see how easily Hightower can break if not careful.

As combined, he doesn't have a lot of movement, however as individual robots, there ok. The two legends later released Red Rampage, and Longhaul were much better then there combiner counterparts. I collect both legends (mostly for my son) and the normal size.

yeh well my hightower is in good condition for the last year ( i aint re bought dev cos of the new stuff, and finishin hftd.) by what part on hightower is damaging.

Here is a pic of one online as mine is back home and I can't use it till I get back.

But where the red circle is you lift it up to get the legs out, and the small pin that allows it to rotate just snapped. I am usually paranoid about transforming any of my transformers but this guy didn't even give me a chance. But my new one is much better.

is yours EZ or hasbro, cos i got EZ, and because most my hasbro tfs, excluding my first lgds jetfire, and 07 megatron, have all been fine. I got replacements for those above btw. (also 07 barricades side window snapped) but on the pic below is scavenger, the arms circled snapped from the screw thing. I am not shore (forgot how spell) whether to get scav or dev

Yeah, mine is the EZ one. But I havn't transformed them a lot. I'd say maybe 4 times total? Scavanger is fine, but with your post I'll be sure to watch it when I do transform him.

Why not just buy the bot that broke?

well if dyou do buy a 2nd devastator, you can use the extra cons from the 1st one as drones like in ROTF

dats exactly my point, and the reason ill get the hasbro set.

Yeah, due to the constructicons in my legends series, seems to be the only reason the cons are not outnumbered in this class like they are in every other series
