My basic question is how much of a difference is there between the US TRU Release and the Takara version?
Wondering if its worth getting I have all the other versions listed below.


Also are these all the versions?
US TRU
Standard Takara
Takara Crystal
Takara Black
Botcon Sideswiper
Botcon Breakdown

Waiiit... so you own a "Standard Takara" animated rodimus ad "US TRU" TFA rodimus, and you still ask if it's worth getting?

Anyway, the only difference is the paint, Takara's Rodimus is painted using a nice deep metallic purple. I own that one and It looks very nice. Most people don't like the metallic paint jobs in animated figures, but I think Rodimus looks pretty cool in it.

And by the way the Western World version is Rodimus Minor, the Takara version is simply Commander Rodimus. He's not really a Prime in that continuity.
