Transformers Encore G1 Devastator Giftset Reissue

Tokyo Toy Show 2011 is starting from today 16th June till 19th June 2011.
Reliable source that is now in the exhibition has just informed us that the Encore series Generation 1 Devastator giftset has been sighted at Takara Tomy booth.
According to our informant, the release date is at the end of the 2011 and cost approximately Japanese Yen 10500.

If the hinted at Dinobots reissues pan out, well yeah. I'd accept that someone, somewhere knows a thing or two.

Reissue the rest of the Combiner Teams like this and you can color me impressed. Especially the Terrorcons and Technobots. Actually, I'd rather get a reissue of the Stunticons and Protectobots before them.

Anyways, if the giftset box uses the rare Devastar art for the back, then I may be interested even though I already have a complete G1 set.

awsome, will preorder this set as soon as it comes up. will put my crazy devy stuff on them for my classics shelf and revert my OG devy with the OG parts for my G1 shelf

just looked up the currency conversion rates if anyones interested, this set will be $129.75 before import costs. hmmmmm may need to rethink this one

Wow so getting this, this + the 3rd party Devy + ROTF Devy means a whole complete sets of devy finally. Only one missing is the energon Devy, since they re-released Bruticus and Superion they should release it also.

Ouch. That's more than I was hoping.
I got lucky years back and scored a complete G1 Devstator for $30. No, it's not a KO. It is legit.

I was born in 1990 right after G1 had pretty much died in the US. Remnants of whatever my parents could find were my exposure to the series.
You probably have more memories of G1 than you care to think. Every aspect of the franchise is influenced by G1. Also, I see that you're 15. Beast Wars era is still technically G1.

energon devy was the first to be rereleased, back in 07 with the classics line as a walmart exclusive

i am teen. i was born after 1995.

Takara/Tomy should release some knock-off Crazy Devy pieces to go with this.
I missed out on the last re-release of this set and was tempted to order a KO, but now I may just wait for the official release. Thank you, Takara/Tomy!
