Like the title says, I was curious which is the dominant toy line in your collection. I am about to reorganize my collection, and separate them by line. Until now, all but my Armada stuff was mixed together. So I was just wondering if you have about an even amount of toys from each line, or does 1 or 2 dominate your collection?

If Generations, RTS, Classics, Universe, Henkei and whatever else those style of toys are counted as one line, then definitely that. If not, Armada probably, there were some damn good discounts on them here. I've got a sizable G1 collection too, but few notable pieces.

Movieverse, and of the movieverse lines, RoTF/HFTD takes up the majority of my shelf space. I only got into collecting TF's after the 2007 movie.

The Classics/Generations/United line make up a third of the collection.

MP and Alternity lines are the extreme minority, being also the most expensive lines.

Yeah, I just got down separating them all, and I don't have as many as I thought. If I include Masterpieces and Generations, then G1 dominates, followed by Armada and Animated with equal pieces.

Animated: 13 (including the BotCon set)

Beast Wars - that hooked me back in to TF's at the time and I got everything - including the Takara stuff.

If you added all the Classics/Generations and MP'S/Binaltech to original G1 toys then that would total more than 450 figures which would dwarf the BW's stuff, but I'll let others set the rule on that.

If Classics/Universe/Generations count as one line and Movieverse toys from any movie count as one then Movieverse tops the bill.

If these don't count as one line then G1.

movie lines and classics/RTS/generations/universe/classics2.0. aka, CLASSICS. i like to call them all classics lines. much easier than having to say all those other lines with it. but movie lines i own the most of. waaaaaaaay to many movie TFs. and there is more on the way obviously

That's a hard question. But I would have to guess G1 although I am not sure. I am poor at tracking my collection and none of it's organized.

Wow I haven't thought of this in a while. Ever wish a particular line did have a lot of releases like MP, Hasbro of course? But if I had to say I guess it would be Classics/Generations. I think I'm gonna have to take an inventory just to see where things stand.

havent done a head count in a while but out of a little over 300 give or take a few id say at least a third is classics another third is movie verse and the other third is a combo of imports (mp,alternity,rid, titanium,3rd party etc.)

Armada, which surprised me.

But if you take Classics, Henkei, Universe 2.0, RtS Classics, and Generations together, then that's the winner.

G1,GF,SL and ML in order of the amount.

Definatly movie but the Neo g1 (class/U2.0/rts/gen) is coming on very strong almost complete and i have a VERY small gang OF 80'S G1.

Movieverse for me, if not its ROTF currently, I'm pretty sure my DOTM's gonna overtake though.

I just counted, and it's nearly a tossup between three lines:

Combined movie lines
Combined Classics / Universe 2.0 / RTS / Generations / etc
TF:Cybertron / Galaxy Force and repaints used in later lines

Movieverse makes up a majority right now. I'd say I probably have classics and animated in equal numbers with 6 masterpiece and a smattering of G1, RiD and other imports. Finishing out animated(with the stuticons if and only if I find a job soon) is my current project, though I'm not sure enough different ones exist to top my movieverse collection.

TF Cybertron. I'm running out of room for those guys.

Am I even allowed to answer these kinds of questions? I have nearly every US release post Beast Machines and most Takara stuff, as well, short of lucky draws.

ROTF or '07 movie definitely have the largest number of pieces.
